Frankly, I don't think VH will sound that good.
VH will sound better! EVH, AVH are iconic musicians who haven't lost a step
Probably not - Luzier was better than AVH (even circa 1984!) and EVH plays sloppier nowadays
VH will sound better due to more professional mixing and acoustics of venues

please, dave did the best he could to get a band to play the classics, but i heard them several times and they sounded like shit in the guitar department.
No shadow of a doubt Ed will pull it off, it's a rejuvenated band with Wolfie in the mix, nothing is better than the real deal with Ed and Dave grooving on the stage

Brian Young sounds worse than EVH on the '04 tour. Eddie can only go up from what he was then. Worst case scenario, Ed sounds as good as B Young.
