Why no Michael Anthony?

I'm sure this has been talked about so many times and I'm kinda beating a dead dog, but Why did the VH brothers decide not to reunite Mikey in the band? Is it because Eddie and Alex wants Wolf in the band and felt he'll be a better fit at this time?, Is it because Mikey has differences with Alex, Eddie and Dave. Anthony was in the 2004 reunion with Sammy, so it has to be Dave!

I can't honestly believe he likes Sammy enough to continue to play in small bars in no where USA. for chunk change, When he could be part of the hottest tour of the year forming the greatest band of Rock history ranking in the $$$.

I know Dave and Eddie are the main members, but it's something to think about.

I'm sure if it was up to the promoters they would want all the orignal members, since it would rank in even more $$$ than now.

Wolfie is a better fit...Michael Anthony has been on the outs with Eddie/Alex since 1996,according to Dave's Book Crazy From The Heat,Eddie was speaking about loyalty and brotherhood with Roth (when Me Wise Magic and Can't get This Stuff No More were recorded) but EVH was already auditioning other bass players...

Loyalty and brotherhood is the key. Eddie keeps hyping on the same theme he had in 1996. MA never showed that. When "Capri pants" came around in "86 MA used to talk about how he used to listen to VH and VHII all the time because as he put it that's when they had the fire. MA is like a bad girlfriend. Whoever supplies the whiskey, he's there.

Maybe Eddie just had enough. Being sober sometimes brings you back to reason. After all this time he finally realized that the true Van Halen is having Dave up front.
