Smart move on the Allstate Arena better sound better view. I took a chance to hold out to see if they will add another show, but they have not sold out yet, but there are only a few upper level and side stage and behind the stage seats. Why the hell do they sell behind the stage tickets.
I'm flying in from Germany and going to Chi-town Allstate arena......tickets in 116 never been there and i see the sound is good how is the view from that far back?
thanks
Are you Mr. Roth? I said yes I am. She said well Mr. Roth I can't serve you anymore because I think your drunk and if I was you girlfriend I'd put poison in your drink! And I looked in the bottle and I said why you old witch if I was your boyfriend I'd fucking well drink it too!!!!
You will not be disappointed with any seat unless you are side stage/behind the stage. The sound is very good. You can take the blue line L(subyway) right from the airport if you are staying in Rosemont and save yourself a $40 cab ride.

Sweet thanks man............
Allstate is a great arena for concerts, and the views and sound is noticeably better than the United Center.
Oh, and I'll be at the Allstate Arena show as well. Upper level, but just glad to be there!
i got floor seats at the United Center...10 minutes from my place...plus Tues shows are harder on you than Thurs shows...if anyone needs help on directions ect..let me know!
Allstate Arena here too...
Saw them w/ Cherone back in 1998, from upper level side - The arena is small enough that 2nd level is still damn close, especially right up front near the stage.
ill be there, you goin anywhere for pre concert beers?Originally posted by chi-town324

Are their prices (and availability of great seats) better than StubHub? I'm interested in getting some Bears tixs, too.Originally posted by tajmahal

Who's "We"?
...cuz, if you're gonna be there, I'll throw you a beer.
Since Feb, your opinions on the whole VH saga are the ones that I have agreed with the most.

Not catchin' Chicago. More than likely either Boston, MSG or Uniondale on the east coast.
As for the west one's, still under scrutinization.
I did not get tickets because I though they would be adding another show in Chicago, but as of now they have not added a show. Also, the only tickets that were available on line were the $149 tickets and I just did not want to spend the money. I have had good luck with getting tickets on EBAY so I will have to let you know.

East Rutherford? I bought Tix from StubHub already for that one....

I have friends that get tickets so I have never had to buy them. This year will be extremely difficult to get tickets because they were NFC champs and half of their games will be prime time if you include the flex schedule. I assume you are trying to go to a game while you are in Chicago, but the best chance of getting a ticket is for the Lions game.
try Craigs list if you can find a season ticket holder, you can get them a little over face ...just keep at it

I've found that to be very true. Flights from Atlanta are cheap, and the arena is a short cab ride from Ohare (as near as I can tell).
Plus, there are plenty of hotels within stumbling distance.
yep the arena is a few miles from O'Hare....
I pulled the trigger on tickets right at 10:AM for Allstate Arena and I got Section 4 Row 32. Not too shabby but was hoping for closer. I used to live in Chicago back in the late 90's but now I'm in Denver. I didn't even know they changed the name from Rosemont Horizon to Allstate Arena.
22+ years has been a long fucking time to wait for this. I hope Dave and Ed give 110% and I hope Al gives about 80% Meaning I hope he lays off those fucking cymbols a little. So damn annoying.

Is seat 2 in section 4 close to the center or farther on the left side? Damn I hope it's the center or else I'll be on Wolf's side.
I copied & pasted the item # on ebay last time i got bears tix..Originally posted by Switch84

short cab ride?! fuck! it is across I-90. O'Hare one side, Allstate other. Hell, if the flight patterns are right, you could jump out the plane at right time and land in parking lot. Is a total trip.Originally posted by rwc

I am holding out for second round after Europe and Asia. Hoping summer outdoor venues like Alpine Music Theater in East Troy WI, which is a 30 minute drive for me. Gathering friends up for some reunion stoner memories atm.
We were in section 113 for Kiss reunion and could see great. Friends were in 104 2-5 rows up and they thought it sucked even o close but had to look across stage.

ticket link & seem fair pricing..
Don't forget to check Midway Airport for fligh tickets to Chicago. It is definitely farther form Midway to Rosement, but you can take the Orange Line right from the airport to downtown and then switch for free to the Blue Line straight to Rosemont. You can also try booking flights for both airports - Coming in to Midway and leaving O'hare or vice versa. I have found cheap prices this way, but this may be tricky if you are not familiar with the area.
T
im pumped !!!!shoeless Joes at around 4!!!
