Tour Merchandise / Would be cool to re-issue original tour shirts !

Anyone have any clue of what some of the merchandise at the shows will be. I really just care about the t-shirts. I know the Merch section on the bands website is "opening soon" but I was wondering if anyone knows someone who was at the press conference and maybe saw some samples or something.

I know Im streching here but hey you never know unless you ask right?

Personally I wish they would have new stuff and re-issues of all their original tour shirts. If so, which would you guys want to see and buy? I just want a M black with the CVH logo and I'd be a happy man.

It would be really cool if they re-issued those shirts.

Would be a smart move too, as many people would buy more than 1....

Eddie and his lawyers are always very picky about licensing, I'm sure the contracts to produce the T-shirts for this tour are already done, and whoever is printing those will probably reprint some older designs as well. And then sell them for $50 each.

At the Police show they sold old style shirts. Hopefully VH will as well.

Sorry folks but my opinion's exactly the opposite. I want NEW merchandise to coincide with the tour. Future, not the pasture, you know?

There's a reason vintage shirts are vintage. This ain't 1981 and I don't want it to be.

I wanna be sayin "I got a brand new VH shirt right here I say!!!"

However, I'm for sure wearin' one of my old IT AIN'T VAN HALEN WITHOUT DAVID LEE ROTH shirts at one of the shows.

I tried a search for them and didn't come up with anything.

On a side note, a couple of sites are selling some vintage tour shirts: '79 seems fairly common.

I think that site that had them was "asked" to remove them??

I think I remember hearing something about it a few weeks ago?

The 79' shirt, yup....bought that T and the one I linked last year.
They had a Gold one too last year, got it too and am glad because that one is gone.

just ordered the 79' 3/4 sleeve and a few can coozies Sunday.

gonna need the coozies real soon.....

                    That sounds really cool!

I am looking forward to the new merchandise as it is really hard to get VH merchanidse here (UK) unless you want Hagar-era shit. If I wanted a 2004 tour or a 5150 shirt, I could get one tomorrow.

But a decent shirt, no chance.

So I may well be getting a new VH-style wardrobe.

I just purchase a 1980 Invasion Tour Shirt on Ebay for $90. I know that's a little excessive, but that was my favorite t-shirt when I was in Middle School in the early 80's. That was also the first time I got to meet the band and they were cool as shit to 4 6th grade kids. Alex actually took us on the tour bus and gave us drumsticks, guitear picks and the Fingers of Daves gloves.

My Mom worked at the Spectrum in Philly for another 8 years and I was able to meet them FW, DD and 1984 tours.

That concert shirt holds lots of memories and I have a hard on for both Philly nights.

                          Welcome to the Army!

I know a lot of us are going to be quite envious of the fact that you've met the band, pretty cool I must say.

                          Cheers!

I saw one of these shirts at Ozzfest in Hartford over the weekend.

Who was it? Anybody from here?
