#31 on Alex's kick drum front heads

On the pics from the rehearsals I noticed the #31 on Al's front bass drum heads.

Any clue to what this means? Or am I missing the obvious?

Very cool drum set btw. I wonder where he keeps all his kits, as he has a new one for each tour, right?

I think the current set + the black/white striped are my top favorite ones..

It's a cartoon of a blonde chick in a red bikini on Alex's side bass drum but it's a completely different illustration.

Really cool desig, where did it come from? I didn't see it when it "surfaced"..

Can't find the image from the side of the drum set anymore.. all rehearsal images seem to be "taken away" from the net soon after published..

3 new "Designs' came out shortly after that picture of Alex and Dave hanging out at that Art show. There was alot of speculation that these designs had "something' to do with the Tour.


the one that I posted above was one of them...there's a thread or 6 here about them somewhere....

I've also had the 3 of them on my Myspace page since they were found.
