WHAT? VA - not going to the MGM for New Years????? I hope your son is carrying on the VH tradition... it would be a great moment for you both to share? Think about it:
- Your Son can probably get you the best seats in the house;
- Room at MGM;
- New Years has a million $$ Fireworks display at Midnight;
- Having VH bring you into '08 until the Tour resumes..how good does it get?
Hope you'll consider. The Last Show for '07 should be even more explosive!

A Tip to the potential Traveler to VEGAS for the VH Show(s):
Try Orbitz, Expedia or Sidestep.com for Flight/Hotel pkgs. I have found Sidestep and Orbitz to be alittle more competitive in price than Kayak.com.
Try booking/compare prices on SATURDAY afternoon & evenings when visiting these websites for your Vacation Pkg purchase....supposedly you can get better rates than booking on Sunday thru Friday.
VA - I hope to meet up with you and other ROTHARMY for a few toasts to a VH Roth n' Roll Year it has been!

Nah, he's into R&B and that crap.... I might try to hit the Meadowlands show on Nov. 3rd, but I won't be able to swing a cross country trip at that time of yera....
Now my youngest son (he turned 14 today) is a different story, his Ipod could be mine considering what he has in it... VH, Zep, Floyd, Rush, Ozzy, Crue.... Absolutely nothing modern at all...
That's my boy....

Nothing like the new generation appreciating what Real Rock is all about and listening to the MASTERS. That is VERY COOL. I hope he thinks of ROTH as the ultimate Frontman

I just came back from Vegas - attended the 12/30 gig. Saw AlbertR there as well and we both agree that as great as the show was.....Ed
s performance was alittle "OFF" (polite for "BUZZED"). He hit is head and cheek against the mic at least 3 separate times (it appeared to be just a slightly clumsy move and most fans would probably not recognize Ed's state of mind, but diehards do. Most of Ed's solo was not recognizable (at least to me), with the exception of a bit of "Eruption & Cathedral" riffs. This was my 5th show and Ed's most unrecognizable solo performance so far.
The show must go on...and it did, to a sell out crowd and it was an achievement as Dave called it a bit of a "Special Night" as this performance marked "40" completed gigs. I do think all were completely exhausted and the smiles and hugs of Dave and Ed were still apparent, which seemed to bring this 2007 tour (or this portion of it anyway) full circle with the same good spirits and attitude towards each other....Wolfie sporting his bit of "Coolness" w/some sunglasses. Al's drum solo was as precise and steady as he's performed from the kickoff of this tour.
(The show was GREAT - no disappointments; just concern for Ed's health and well being for 2008 and that he'll be able to finish the tour completely sober.
