When I listen and watch Eddie play, I want so bad to believe that he is still as great as he was back in the early days. He was pretty much an alcholic back then, but he was running on young energy and excitement. Sometimes when you combine a killer buzz with young energy, cool/amazing things will happen. In Eddie's case, he changed rock history and blew a many a mind. But now, he's older, slower, and just not as sharp. Eddie was playing guitar like a great prize fighter, knocking people out every night, year in and year out, and then one day he just doesn't have as much punch in his tank. But he's still the man because of his record. I guess that'll just have to do.

Amen to all of that... it's pretty obvious when Ed's not sober. With Wolf on this tour I thought that would be enough reason to go completely clean. It's a sickness. Damn booze!
