I remember when this first aired here in the UK, not the normal friday night viewing we used to get. Top stuff, I saw him on this tour, last of the big arena tours in the UK.
Good thing I downloaded it. The video quality messes up a few times and the sound is a little out of sync (or could be my imagination), anyways here it is if anybody wants it:
He's the kind of interviewer who pretends to be a huge fan of the people on his show, even when he hasn't the faintest.
For proof of this, find the Motley Crue interview from 2005.
I really like Ross's show - fuckin' hilarious if you ask me. I suppose he has to pretend to be a fan of whomever is on. The Crue interveiw was great though wasn't it? I laughed my ass off....
I thought it was cool that they were on, but I thought it was a little on the embarrassing side.
I think it'd be much better if interviewers were honest...if you don't like em, don't pretend you do, just stay impartial. There's no need to say "Oh, I'm a huge fan", like he often does.
As I say, I used to like him, but over the last few years he's gotten so obnoxious, arrogant and downright annoying that I stopped watching/listening to him altogether. He's become unbearable. Why do the BBC use him for EVERYTHING?
