    drinkin' with a bear

    ed "the claw" sprinkle showed up at my wife's bar last night to watch the game. i had never heard of him before. cool guy, his "girlfriend" was cool too. got some autographs and bought their meal. quite an honor, first time i got to cheers a hall of famer!!!

    he said Halas was a great coach and better friend. he talked about don hutson and how good he was. it was cool. bean's grandpa is 93 and from chicago, so ed is gonna call him and wish him a merry christmas. and watch the packers/bears game on the 30th.
