I rented it several times and now there was a good offer, so I said "fuck it"...enjoy the midlife crisis...
The first three gears used to be limited...they are not aymore...it's a fucking dragster on two wheels. But...it is so relaxed on that thing...

Went for a short ride today to see if I thought it was feasible to take a longer ride to Houston and back tomorrow. I'll be riding my bro's back up bike. 06 Dyna Super Glide. Stock with ridiculously loud pipes. Haven't ridden in about a year. Rode the same bike to beach and back last spring. Everybody else will be on baggers. I'll enjoy the ride but I'll probably regret it afterwards.

Ride didn't work out too well. Halfway there the Dyna started cutting out so I turned around and headed home. I made it back alright but I had a few shaky moments. Luckily there's not much between here and where I turned around in Nederland. The other riders continued their journey and are back now. Hopefully it's something we can fix without sending it to a mechanic.
