Here's my 1100 V-Star...
Had it over a year now, still lovin' it every time I ride.
Here's my 1100 V-Star...
Had it over a year now, still lovin' it every time I ride.
I had a Tote Gote. A bigger geared down version of the mini bike. They were popular with hunters and I drove mine through the forrest and through swamps. Mine had an old Briggs and Stratton cement mixer motor that was way past it's prime. No muffler just a pipe and when you shut the engine off a big flame would shoot out. Also the motor was too tall for the frame so the spark plug would go up into the seat cushion. It worked it's way through the seat one day and gave my ass the biggest shock.
Yes, I would, if I only had the key....?
Kit bikes are boring. More fake Harleys now than real. Course the broads got fake tits too so I guess it matches...
If you had to choose between two bikes,
one being the V-Star 1100 I have now (scroll up)
or
this one I'm test driving in Vegas on Friday when I go out there to do a gig,
which one would you choose?
(and no, there is no third option for 'If that was my choice I'd get a car instead')
Keep the Vammyhammer.
Give 1500$ for that poorly engineered unsafe at any speed trike, pull the bug motor, and put it in a baja buggy frame.
unless you trust every single weld on that monstrosity.
Sell left over trike, for a pull behind cycle travel trailer for the V.
win win win
I am higher than a great good godd damn n Georgia pine..

It is intersting how creativity can create obsolescence.
I am suspect'in this rolling Bulldyke, was made for a nutless Oranygie'taintygie..?
Perhaps made for shopping lumberjack shirts and wolverine boots.
Right turn Clyde!
What sort of bike is this?
Lounge?
Maybe Mark Jones knows.......
Time to put a real bike in this thread..
The name of the thread is "Motorcycle" not "katie the dumb cunt" thread.
-Last Year KC- was the leading contributor to, The Cause.
I have no idea what and where and/or the politics of it.
The promise, is a noble one tho..?
I saw this show about Biker Gangs and this cop narc informant was really cutting bikers down as criminal organizations that do these rides to try and appear as that they are just wholesome folks....
1% perhaps the other 6000 on this ride Sunday and in other cities across the nation.. of us see the cop as a narc informant stoolie..and why should I believe that guy,at least I don't.
I really respect 1% of the cops.
To me this is only about the black and white, of the infant mortality rates, and the money that it brings towards "no cure" this is not a virus.... just the money needed to give these children a fighting chance.

You are right, Thome.
It can be and often is a terrible and catastrophic event when criminals, be they contrabandists or scoundrel, involve persons without their consent into their criminal activities.
I recently saw a documentary that told the story of a biker club that lost significant membership due to a small percentage of fellows bent on misbehavior and exploitation of the club's good name.
Many people enjoy motorcycling, though I am fond of dirt bikes, I do appreciate a fine road bike.

"I have heard there are troubles of more than one kind. - Some come from ahead and some come from behind. - But I've bought a big bat. I'm all ready you see. - Now my troubles are going to have troubles with me!" ~ Dr. Seuss[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
6,200 bikes rode sunday, last I heard.
Very close to 700K in monies raised, in KC.
The day was beautiful.
The people were cool and the breeze was the same.
Once again in the complete lack of cognitive reasoning I forgot my camera.
So here is some sponsor photos, and a short vid.

Here is my quote from the Nikki Six Thread, but I want this here because this is a cool thread and I am cool and motorcycles are cool and Vince Neil was cool.
Review: The drummer was over the top very showy outrageous lots of hand work and twirling of the sticks he was fan fukking tastic, loud completely on time, and just like a style I haven't seen in awhile. Kicked the sh!t out of the drums in a great way.
Vince was -GREAT- there were a few missed lyrics his voice was great he was probably a sharp as I have ever seen him. Lots of Motley, the new bands tunes were good and the CD will probably be worthy...? I don't even know if it's out..lol
The girls were everywhere 50% of the crowd and hot.
The Guitar and bass were good but the Drummer and Vince stole the show.
Only half of the venue was sold maybe a 1000 people the booze lines were a drag and outside of the doors of the venue. You could miss two tunes getting booze it sukked.

Another one of those classic genius posts, sure to generate responses. You log on the next day to see what your witty gem has produced to find no one gets it and 2 knotheads want to stick their dicks in it... Well played, sir!!
just got done puttin' bigger cams in my 02 ultra classic this weekend. what a difference. makes the big bore kit we did a couple years ago worthwhile.
Cool ride!
That rear tire reminds me of a Continental tire I had on a street bike.. I had back in the 70's.
The Blue Sky in that photo pisses me off especially with the panhead in front.
It is grey and rainy today with 6 to 20 inches of snow predicted for the next couple days.
I feel like going to the airport with 500$ and getting the first ticket to anywhere.
I usually spend 10 bucks on a tank of gas for my bike and get the same out of it ..lol
thome on the corned exit ramp in K.C. sign reads......
"Need Help"..
"anybody got 500 bucks for sandwich"
"in Fla"
75 in az today, beautiful riding weather right now.
You just lost a friend, you dog!
j/k
Someday I want to ride to Arizona.
Then up to Denver and back to KC.
I want another bike first.
Perhaps, I will go have drinkie times at the local dive and make with the jukebox and play some beach boys and just trip away...lol
