Damn, look at that garage door.
Damn, look at that garage door.

Another one of those classic genius posts, sure to generate responses. You log on the next day to see what your witty gem has produced to find no one gets it and 2 knotheads want to stick their dicks in it... Well played, sir!!
I spent 9 hrs in the rain once, my water proof Gortex boots held a pint of ice water in each one .....I guess... in case I got thirsty.??
Survival boots and all..lol
Over the next horizon the sun was shining bright and I couldn't get there...lol.
I was so pissed I was going to sell the scoot for a plane ticket back..lol
I wish you and yours the best sounds like fun and you know the good rides are worth every penny.
9 hrs? ugh, fuck that i woulda stopped and waited a day. at the local pub of course.
I had the propper gear but also a determination to get there..So...
The sunshine was as right there I was heading south along the edge of a front that ran from the southwest to the northeast it was heading east ...well you understand.
It was like my irish luck had me and ,,,,I had somewhere I had to be.
I would be dry for 20 min in the sun...then 1 hr of ice cold monsoon..lol
"it's not the journey it's the destination"....type of deal.
I stopped all the time..ah perhaps we will have a beer someday and trade stories..
Lets not start this riding season off this way, but I must we will understand this as never happening again, peace to the families.
3 dead in north Phoenix motorcycle crash
I PM'ed Petes Brother after hearing about this this morning and he is fine.
I am not the sort to truly worry, but I am not down with riders getting creamed .
After I heard about this I was doing some research and found a discussion topic to late and perhaps not a help at all.
The dealio is you can place a flashing switch on your bike and without taking your hand off the break lever or pedal, this switch will flash on and of in a random way, not always the same, fast, then slow, then two dashes then a long dash, then three dots, like Morse Code.
So a group of bikes would look very "standoutish" and very few wouldn't "Notice" them...I have spent many a tense moment eyeing my rear view sweating clicking my break lever on and off, wether or not whoever is barreling up on my bike, at this light is going to stop or push me into next week.
Do you all think this is a good thing or just another gimic that will be passed off ...Is it legal in all states I don't know right now myself.

Hurry Springtime...I'm still freezing.
poor guy, it was damn near 80 today, windy tho. i have a spoiler on my tour pack with an led lite bar in it, as well as converted my rear turn signals to brake lights also. definately helps visibilty when you're sweatin' it out at the light tappin' the brake lights. i try to make a concious effort to have an "escape lane" in between some cars or off to the sidewalk if necessary. not the easiest to remember some hungover mornins.
get your knees in the breeze.. (closest i could find to a biker smiley)
side note 1. my buddy is installin' a high beam activated garage door opener on the wifey's scoot and mine. very cool. pretty cheap too.Home - F2P Technologies
got a little better deal on ebay than direct, for what its worth.
side note 2. who do i have buy a blowjob for in order to get a biker smiley?
and the pile-o-poop one don't count.
If the security is tied into the code of your opener this sounds like a cool thing . I couldn't find that answer directly in thier FAQ section, but it seemed to be implied .I like this idea.
I just could imagine myself drinking beer and sitting up all night durring a lightning storm and watching my neighbors doors go up and down all night long and laughing my ass off. Perhaps to the tune of some CVH.
It's the little things that thrill me the most.
Roll On PB.
the opener works great. i'm happy.

I won't ride bikes (my personal preference is 4 wheels and being surrounded by 2,000 pounds of steel), but I have always thought Harleys are the Marshall Amp of motorcycles. Have a reputation among the general public as being somewhat unreliable, but also has a reputation and a sound unlike any other bike on Earth.
Both cylinders/rods share a common crank pin, and the 45 degree angle are responsible for that. And also the vibration which causes the unreliability issues. But now they have rubber-mounted motors, and balance shafts to isolate the vibration. but it also (in my opinion) makes the bike soul-less and generic......
Chainsaw Muthuafucka
They still have a reputation, though, second to none...just like Marshalls.
well, mine certainly has a soul. came about from my donated blood, sweat and tears. and i wish i could have paid a generic price for my name brand scoot. i agree that the older bikes have much more "attitude"? or "panache" if you will. couple hundred miles on a rigid panhead, and you may change your mind a bit about the rubber mounts.:tongue0011: that bein' said, my old shovelhead got all the looks while parked next to $30k choppers and baggers.
My main ride is a 57 pan in a rigid frame.. My 78 Shovel I've had for twenty five years and was my main bike for twenty. The last guy that commented on my Pan was surprised it neither a speedo, nor a Gas gauge. I have no desire to have anything newer no matter how convenient they are to ride.....
excellent.
My first bike was a thing called a Tote-Gotte. It would climb anything and had a whole 8hp of Briggs and Stratton fury.

biker haters.......
BERLIN (Reuters) – A German student created a major traffic jam in Bavaria after making a rude gesture at a group of Hell's Angels motorcycle gang members, hurling a puppy at them and then escaping on a stolen bulldozer.
German police said on Monday that after making his getaway from the Hell's Angels club, the 26-year-old dumped the bulldozer, causing a 5 km (3 miles) traffic jam near the southern town of Allershausen, local police said. He then fled to his home nearby where he was apprehended by the police.
"What motivated him to throw a puppy at the Hell's Angels is currently unclear," said a spokesman for local police, adding that the student had lately been suffering from depression.
The puppy was now in safe hands, the spokesman added.

MILWAUKEE -- A federal judge in Milwaukee has denied bail for the alleged leader of a national motorcycle gang who's been indicted in Richmond, Va.
Authorities said Jack Rosga, 53, of Milwaukee, is the president of the American Outlaws Association. He was arrested early Tuesday.
He appeared in court under heavy guard, wearing a gray T-shirt and black gym shorts.
Rosga is charged with two conspiracy counts, including conspiracy to commit racketeering. The charges carry a maximum penalty of 23 years in prison and a $500,000 fine.
According to the 50-page indictment, Rosga is accused of instructing other Outlaws to kidnap and shoot members of the rival Hell's Angels motorcycle gang.
Chip Burke, who is representing Rosga until Rosga is transferred to Virginia, said prosecutors might be overstating Rosga's role with the Outlaws.
The indictment said the Outlaws engaged in violent acts to gain control against rival motorcycle gangs.
Anyone getting one of the new Tron bikes?
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Custo...#ht_722wt_1165
I'm no motorised bicyclist but would guess that thing will corner like an oil tanker.
Judging by the width of the tires with the body off, I'd say so.... But the upshot is you'd never have any problems with grooves in the road or grated bridges, Or even falling over if you forget to put the kickstand down..
