he was 75. this is the guy who was the winning pitcher in game 7 of the 1955 world series on oct.4th,1955, the dodgers won their 1st world series. a week later my dad was born. all the partying going on in brooklyn sent my grandmother into labor. to this day, my dad is a dodgers nut.
i met johnny podres in 1989 and got his autograph. he was a very nice man.
