I can't imagine that the admin's are finished with revising the site as
of yet so I am going to reserve final judgment. And I know they are
doing all they can to make this a better messageboard - yet I am
going to go out on a limb here to defend Jhale. He is totally
undeserving of any flaming here, especially by management.
Succinctly, that muff thread was one of the most viewed threads on
this entire site so he had to have been doing something right. Muff
thread aside, JHale is one of the coolest posters I have ever read
anywhere on the internet. Just from what I know of him, when I have
kids one day, I want them to grow up with the attitude that that cat
has. He is no troll. He is not one to bitch and moan. He's one of the
best posters this messageboard has. How many more cool posters
are going to get frustrated out of this place?
Yeah the site was running smoother last night for a bit (it didn't last
the entire night) but this morning, its ironic: all the picture forums are
gone, hilarious flame wars and ammunition for future wars are gone
from Arielles, I can't complain but for the purposes of my argument -
State Your Take is gone. Selfishly, I can't enjoy the two things I
found most pleasurable about the site: not just garden variety
internet porn, but the finest models out there on the internet
meticulously selected after hours of gruelling research by a man who
is clearly an expert in the field; and, Popgear. YET THE SITE IS STILL
SLOW AS A MOFO!!!
I don't know what's going on behind the scenes and the webbies don't
need to read us all bitching when they are taking their valuable free
time to try and improve this place. Again, despite the tough talk, I
know Mezro and the others are doing all they can and recognize the
utility of being able to post pictures on a messageboard, but when -
thome- starts a thread to praise how brilliant a policy is around here -
you gotta know something ain't right!
EDIT: (after waiting 4 minutes for the page to refresh...) And Terry
too!! Totally undeserving of any pot shots. Its not unreasonable
under these circumstances for a member to make a post "hey
where's my thread...".
And before you can come back at me with "where's your contribution"...
I have the money, I have thought about contributing, but two things
have prevented me from doing so: (1) something that was said to me
in a conversation I had with a webbie once, which I am not at liberty to
discuss any further, and (2) I always get the feeling I am about to be
run out of here on a rail, given the bum's rush, so to speak. Know
what I mean, Gene?
