    Super Bowl LXII

New England goes for 19-0 against the upstart Giants.

I'm picking the Pats by two TDs.

I don't give a fuck about either one, and I especially wish the halftime show would end in a freak accident. Overall the Super Bowl is.....

Everyone picked the Bucs. They were wrong.

Everyone picked Dallas. They were wrong.

Everyone picked the Packers. They were wrong.

    Everyone will pick the Patriots...

I couldn't be more proud of the Giants, they have given us fans more than we could ever ask for out of this season.

Early in the second quarter would be the perfect time to really rough the passer on bullshit play action. It's not rocket surgery. Strahan takes Brady to cuntcussionville. Manning's confidence will grow exponentially, after the viewing world is horrified.

Plaxico sets superbowl receiving records....Brady is headed (literally) for an MRI.

    That'd be beautiful!

Brady's bad ankle or whatever makes me wonder about his chances to make it through the game.

I know if I had the chance to rush Brady I would try to exploit that weakness by targeting it and I'm sure some NY players have that in mind. Hey, it's the Super Bowl and these guys are going to try to punish Brady and that ankle/foot.

    My first prediction is:

Brady taken out late in the 1st quarter.

Go Big Blue! The Giants are playing with house money and no pressure. Hopefully they can pull a rabbit out of the hat again. If not, they gave us a great suprise that no one expected!

the giants are gunna get reamed. After the Giants two fluke wins over superior teams. The Giants beat the only teams that could have beaten the Pats.

New England congrats on the superbowl win.

Well, as a longtime Giants fan, pretty much as far back as I can remember, this season has been a most gratifying of seasons and I couldn't be happier about this team, nor did I expect them to get this far at all. I still don't believe it, but something is going on for sure.

I WANT the Giants to win, and I hope that they do, but I will say the same thing that I said leading up to all 3 playoff games, that I don't know and could see either team pulling it off.

Leading up to Patriots game in week 17, I felt that Giants had a great chance to upset the Patriots, and you know what, they almost did. The Giants did put the Patriots to their lowest deficit all season during the game, and the Patriots won by 3 points. This is not bitching, but anyone who was watching that game knows that there was some questionable officiating going on, as there was in the Ravens v Pats game.

Yes, Pats fans are so fucking arrogant and annoying, you would think that they were actually playing on the team and winning the games.

Go GIANTS, and I think we're actually going to have a real football game this Super Bowl, as opposed to the boring blowouts.

    Cock...

I had Plaxico and Shockey on my FF teams, so even as a Pats fan I watched alot of Giants games this year. That being said, before three weeks ago, I cant see how this year was so gratifying. I would even go so far as to say that if they lost to Buffalo, Caughlin was getting fired. I saw a mostly undiciplined team...lots of stupid penalties in key situations. Now, it turns out that the Giants were the least penalized team in the league this year, but when the game was on the line (so it seemed to me) they held, jumped offsides, blocked in the back on a kickoff return, etc... Granted, that was the regular season, and they have been playing out of their minds since.

And don't tell me that you loved Eli Manning before three weeks ago. No way.

This is probably the last hurrah for the Pats linebacker crew...that core of defenders has been here before...I think that the defense will come up big for the Pats one more time...

Not saying the Giants CAN'T win this game...just don't see it happening.

Was that arrogant and annoying enough for you?

Hey Pa, how are ya man, I didn't mean you actually, although the placement of the post is bad timing.
I have run into alot of Pat's fans and I think I was reading another board before I came to this thread and so there ya go, I guess it was in my mind.

I know that the Pat's are really good team and that Brady does some incredible work out there. I am really looking forward to this game, and perhaps a huge upset.

Also, truth be told PA, I have been an Eli defender for the last three years, I really have.

I am as surpirsed as anybody about the turnaround on the team, and my one friend went so far as to saying before the playoffs began that perhaps this was intentional and some part of Coughlin's plan.....slipping into the playoffs under the radar and then rolling through....I dunno.....we did discuss this during the Pat's game, because that was not the team I saw all season....

I could care less about either team, but because of that other "Super" event on Tuesday.....

I want the team from New York to lose BOTH.

The only reason I'm even bothering to watch this game is for the Tom Petty halftime show. And if it's like any other recent SB halftime show, that will be a whole 10 minutes.

Why can't they let Tom & the boys keep playing and fuck the talking head idiots from FAUX Sports. They must be cumming in their biased ass pants because they get two East Coast teams this time.

I think I also typed something about putting pressure on Brady in another thread. While Plexico didn't set any records, I'm glad that someone listened.

Poor ol' Brady....he's looking at a rebuilding process and cuntgressional inquisition.

    What a great game!!!

Isn't it interesting how people who aren't normally fans of the Giants were rooting for them (I was, at least, and I'm a Cowboys fan) probably just about as hard as Giants fans in this game due to everyone's overwhelming desire to see the much hated Patriots go down in defeat? To me, it was kinda like a good guys vs. the bad guys type of deal, the Giants being the good guys, of course.

It was a great win against the odds..

Eli Manning seemed to step up for the occasion too..
I dunno (Ima dumb aussie learning this game) but
Eli has always seemed like a great throw, but a baby
    when tackled.. Unlike big bro...

I think he delivered the goods....

    Patriots were out of sorts...
