Not at all, sir!
Things are well in the Bronx today too. 9-1 in the seventh.
yankee pride!!
Yanks lost to Toronto 6-3, Boston lost to another bird species, the Orioles 9-6.
Yanks magic number is 9.
Yanks beat Toronto, Boston beats the Orioles.
Yanks magic number is 8.
Yanks lose, BoSox win. Lead is now 3 1/2. Magic number remains at 8.
In a makeup game vs. TB being played as I type this the Yanks lead 4-0.
Yanks win, Red Sox lose. Lead is 4 1/2 games with a big three game series beginning tonight. Magic number for a 7th straight AL East title is 6. Yesterday's win clinched a 10th straight post season berth for the Yanks. They are assured of at least a wild card.
Yanks beat Boston 6-4 to increase their lead to 5 1/2 games and drop the magic number to 4.
Yanks are now 19-11 in games Martinez starts.
I just saw "Nine Innings form Ground Zero" - very good.
BoSox rip the Yanks 12-5. Lead back down to 4 1/2 but time is running out on Boston.
Nice spin job huh?
Boston beats us 11-4. Wins this series 2-1 after losing last weekend's series 2-1.
Lead is 3 1/2 games heading into the last week of the season. Yanks have 6 games left, Boston 7.
Great shot of Locklear by the way...
Yanks win the division...but now ask themselves this question...
can they win with Pedro and Schilling 1-2 on the top of that staff...
with fucking Duque as their #1?
LMFAO...no fucking way in a normal world...but in this world...the Yanks world/and the curseworld...it's a real posibility...

Why are you pushing I,Max?
Because of Max who posts here. He is a good friend of mine and I thought he'd get a kick out of it and he did.Originally posted by POJO_Risin

Now that you mention it I was thinking of getting something new.
Yanks were idle last night. Boston won. With the win they clinched a playoff spot and the lead is now 3 games and each team has 6 games to play.
It's raining here today and expected to get heavier the Yanks game may be called and they'll have to play a doubleheader tomorrow
We were a 1/2 game behind because of a rainout of a earlier game with Baltimore I think.....

Yankees sweep a doubleheader from the Twins and the Red Sox lose at Tampa Bay.
The magic number is 1 for clinching a 7th straight AL East crown.
Yankees win on a ninth inning walk off homer by Bernie Williams. It clinches the division for the Yanks and gives them 100 wins. The Yanks will also end up with the best home record in baseball.

" You know I go from rags to riches"
Yanks get pounded 7-0 in a meaningless game for them.
But there in the playoffs, so these games dont matter!!!!
Whether you like it or not, learn to love it, because its the best thing going. Wooooo!
Yanks lost yesterday (Saturday)
Yanks won today.
Final Record 101-61

Game 3 tonight bayyyyyyyyyyyyybe!
It's almost another "must win" with Santana lurking...
yeah, it is. But, they did hit him well the 1st game, a game they could have easily won with a few breaks.Originally posted by Figs

Yeah, they had a few chances - something like 0 for 7 with runners in scoring position, not to mention all the DP's. Which Kevin Brown will we see tonight? A lot of question marks with their starters. To me it's not that surprising to see any of them pitch great or horrible.
I hear ya, but its been that way all year and we are still tickin'. The bats provide the wiggle room for the starter. Hopefully Brown is on tonight...Originally posted by Figs

Big win for the Yanks! Game 4 this afternoon. Hopefully, they can wrap it up so they can rest up for the BoSox.
On to the ALCS to meet the Red Sox for the 2nd year in a row!
boston sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! they're going down
PANAMA CITY, Panama (AP) - A grieving Mariano Rivera returned to Panama after two family members were electrocuted in his pool, but the star reliever intends to be in New York when the Yankees open their playoff series with the Boston Red Sox.
Rivera learned of the deaths while celebrating with his teammates in the clubhouse after the Yankees beat the Minnesota Twins on Saturday to reach the AL championship series.
"I have to comply with my family obligations, and I will return to New York on Tuesday," he told the newspaper La Prensa upon arriving in Panama late Sunday.
Victor Dario Avila, a cousin of Rivera's wife, Clara, and his 14-year-old son were killed Saturday while cleaning the pool at the pitcher's home, Rivera's cousin, Irma Rivera, told The Associated Press.
The teenager, also named Victor Dario Avila, apparently touched an electrical wire while tending to the pool in Puerto Caimito, 40 miles from Panama City. His father died trying to save him, Irma Rivera said.
Yankees general manager Brian Cashman told the Daily News that Rivera would be in the bullpen for Game 1 of the ALCS. Rivera's agent, Fernando Cuza, told The New York Times and Newsday the closer informed him he would be with the team Tuesday night.
Yankees manager Joe Torre was expected to address the matter during Monday's workout at Yankee Stadium. New York advanced by beating Minnesota 6-5 in 11 innings, with Rivera getting the win.
Both the Times and the News reported Monday that Rivera's brother-in-law discovered the victims and was injured while trying to rescue them from the water. The Times said the man, the husband of Clara Rivera's sister, was hospitalized Sunday night in stable condition, according to a correspondent for Editora Panama America, which publishes three national newspapers in Panama.
Avila was a fisherman who also cleaned and maintained Rivera's home. Clara Rivera was traveling to Panama following the accident, family members said.
"Everyone is sad," Irma Rivera said. "Victor was a good man."
Rivera, a key to the Yankees' four World Series titles and six AL pennants since 1996, has been perhaps the biggest factor in their postseason success, converting 30 of 33 save chances. Torre considers Rivera so dependable that New York fans often count the game as a win as soon as they hear "Enter Sandman," the Metallica song played at Yankee Stadium when Rivera jogs from the bullpen to the mound.
Against Boston in Game 7 of last year's ALCS, Rivera pitched three scoreless innings in his longest appearance since Sept. 6, 1996. He won the series MVP award.
While the acquisition of Tom Gordon enabled Torre to lessen Rivera's eighth-inning appearances and helped the closer save a career-high 53 games this year, the Yankees regard Rivera as irreplaceable, a reason the team agreed in March to a $21 million, two-year contract extension through 2006.
"It's a domino effect when you lose a guy like Rivera," pitching coach Mel Stottlemyre said last year, when Rivera began the season of the disabled list with a groin injury.
