New Fender Wolfgang

Is anyone thinking about picking up or checking out one of the new Wolfgang's next month ? I'f you can find one !! I had little interest in the Peavey version but I'm interested in the Fender for some reason. It will most likely cost a shitload of money though. I just read the interview with him in the new guitar world. He really doesn't say anything new, but the fucker knows his shit about guitars !! I still love my Van Halen Music Man after all these years. It's getting more beat to shit every year but it's the only guitar I own that stays in tune !! I set it up for 10's about 9 years ago and put 4 springs on the bar. It's a great setup, I'm just bored with it I think. The Fender looks great !!

I'm interested in trying one to see how it compares to the Music Man and the Peavey. I own a Peavey Wolfgang, so at the minute I have little interest in buying a visually identical guitar, plus I fancy an aged Strat/Tele or the ESP George Lynch relic Strat

Could care less. Don't like the body and hate the headstocks of all of them. The headstock seems too small visually and not proportional to the body. I look like a giant holding one

I have both the EBMM and the Peavey Wolfgang.... I'll be lookin to get my hands on the new one as well, but not for a while - I hear the list price is $2999! OUCH!

Sorry, Ford it's not bullshit !! Every guitar maker in the 80's ripped off his idea's ,Jackson Kramer on & on. The single pickup humbucker design was sold by everbody in the 80's with a Strat style body !! Then everyone started to make their own version of the Music Man when that came out !! Hell you still see them because of the Wolfgang.

That guitar has always been shit. He's been trying to make something "distinctive" looking, so he just makes some shitty mix of an LP and a Strat...that doesn't look as nice as either. Then play with the headstock, because the body isn't that interesting on its own.

And of course, a shitty basswood body...

I spent some time with this thing, they had 3 white ones at the show and if I grab a neck only finding disappointment with the shape and consistency of the profile top to bottom, I put it down and don't fuck with it further.

that's what happened at the show, I put it down. grabbed all 3 and put 'em down, they all had weird lumpy profiles.

"Did you plug it in, how were the pickups? How did you like the weight" don't ask me I PUT IT DOWN because guitars are played with the hands so it doesn't matter the weight nor the pickup if you cannot get past a neck shape and I'm thumbs down on it as a no-buy.
