A bit anal maybe but it of course wasn't recorded using a Moog synthesizer. Bit of a clue just after he says that at 1:50.
Remember being taken aback when I saw that live on that tour, as I'll generally agree the guitar solo and verse vocals were easily the best parts of that tune.
