A hoak is some storie that people make up to get attention to them...

You see, it was another era, entirely. I've spoken at at times about the market place the area was, and those who plied their "wares" within it. Concert tickets, joints, tickets, ect...a welcome to a bastion of free enterprise.

I have never been banned from the Army. Even for the shit pics that I would post in response to some of the ridiculous Ann Coulter columns, etc. that were copy/pasted into the Front Line. None of my obnoxious aliases have been banned either. I have never made the case to have another member that I disagreed with banned at any time.

We had smoking areas up into the late 80s and very early 1990s. In fact, there was a big drug bust at the one near me in the late 1980s which effectively put the kabash on our "smoking area." The one I never smoked at.

In High School, we had no smoking area, we couldn't eaven smoke on school ground. But that was private school so we where not aloud to anything.

In college, late 80's early 90's, we did. And that's where I met most of my coolest friends.

Now, smokers have to go outside, at a certain distance from the entrance. Sometimes I'll join them (eaven if I quit), just for the "getting away from the party" gathering aspect of it.
