Jeff finished the "Dynasty" guitar...
Fan Tastic!!!!!!!!!!
I just emailed this to the guys in my KISS tribute. They love the guitar. Great Job.
I had an 80's Gibson Explorer that had the real bad pin stripes paint job and stuck as many KISS stickers on it as I could kind. People loved that guitar and as usual I wish I had that guitar back.
The detail on this guitar is excellent. From the flames to the boots. Excellent work!!!!!!
A NATION OF COWARDS - Jeffrey R. Snyder
I hope he gets sued for copyright infringement.
Not before he does the Fair Warning for me, k?
Asshat.
Good, then both of you can get sued.
Yeah, that'll happen. Slow night trolling the Frontline or something?
Pretty much. The quality of joker on there has really gone down.
But seriously, if I were the artist, I'd be really pissed that this guy is copying it and you're walking around with it on your guitar. Pissed off. And I just like the idea, I guess. "People... people who sue people..."
No singing!!
...
It wouldn't even bother me if he were doing the Frankie stripes. But I consider the fair warning cover to be actual art. As opposed to just some striped dogshit.
That's actually more of a trademark issue. So he should still be sued. Sue him! Sue him! Fire! Fire!
So....you only want to sue people over guitars you like?
No, I'll sue anybody. Equal opportunity, and whatnot.
Thats a cool Kiss guitar.
Wonder how the Fair Warning bad boy sounds... It'd be a shame if it sounded AMAZING, because that's one of those guitars you dare wouldn't play just to preserve the art.
I bet you this fucker goes balls out and makes the electronics outstanding just like the detailed paint job.
I'll bet he'll put whatever you want in guitar if you ask (and pay) for it.
Obviously the dude has crazy attention to detail...
I still want a Fair Warning...lol
Dupe.
(which is odd because I didn't hit "post" twice...)
Jeff's doing a Lynch clone now...
More pics...
A bit one-dimensional, but a good attempt!
As far as i'm concerned, it's a very awesome replica; it's not like you could do even better. And RCA guitars, the guy who makes them BY HAND actually plays.
Reading Crazy From the Heat in four hours flat, in a cramped RV, on the return trip of a 3,000+ mile family outing to New Jersey is an enlightening experience you'll never forget.
Why just you just call him a " dern young whipper-snapper" and get it over with, gramps?
Post a picture of your supposed "proficiency" or STFU.
I'm just telling you the way it is, I'm not doing any graphics to the star-explorer cutout I don't think.
But I have done bengals, targets, zebras, Frankies, hazard-stripes, and blood splatters.
I haven't decided what to paint the star. It's plain maple, and when I say plain I mean wrapping-paper plain white!
I'd be more inclined to believe you if you posted pictures...
I know George Lynch swears by 'em, but I'm not a fan of all-Maple bodies. The sure do make for pretty tops, but...I haven't decided what to paint the star. It's plain maple, and when I say plain I mean wrapping-paper plain white!
In your case, however - it would be a slight improvement over plywood.
Look, apparently Jeff's painting a guitar for Steve Savicki now!
Brutal awesome!
I wished I had something as gay as that to go back in time auditioning for London.. how much???
Does it say "Jem and the Holograms" on the back?
It's gotta.. oh shit, this is like a dream come true.
Does on the headstock, though...
That looks like a Hamer import headstock.
He must be doing contract work, good for him! That's the way to get known.. worked for GMW!
And Mike Learn, among others...
With the detail shown in Jeff's work, particularly the Fair Warning and Kiss guitar(s), figure he'll be pretty well known soon enough.
It doesn't happen like that unless his work's published.
Actually, I correspond with a dude that runs a fairly-well known guitar blog from P-Mark's neck of the woods, and pretty sure even he's aware of him, he's got nearly a couple thousand MySpace friends and nearly as many on FB...so he's slowly catching on...globally..
Good for him if he is/starts doing contract work though, he deserves it.
All it takes is a few dozen stand-out graphics to stake his claim.
He's efficient, he'll get there.
I'd consider buying a guitar from him-- he only resides in Georgia, it'd be worth the drive. He also makes the guitars himself, for the most part.
Any idea how much his axes run for?
