Well you are in luck because there are two other copies of Baby's On Fire online too, http://www.guitars101.com/forums/f62/david-lee-roth-live-on-the-alae-tour-in-stockholm-36909.html and http://www.guitars101.com/forums/f62/david-lee-roth-live-in-sweden-3-19-91-a-35446.html

First is Stockholm, 15/3/1991, second Milan 30/3/1991.

Stockholm also has Lady Luck but not Milan.

You're welcome Cato, just want to spread ALAE material and I had spent awhile looking for It's Showtime live, so now I've found it, I wanted to share it.

Ahh so the only change was Last Call being replaced with Beautiful Girls.

It looks like that is the whole setlist.

I know you said you hadn't seen it, so I wonder what the quality is like. A good live copy of Showtime would be good! The boots(aside from Glasgow) I have from ALAE, none feature it.

Shame really, I thought it was one of the better songs on the album.

Does anyone know when Desi Rexx got fired? I know he was gone by the Stockholm gig.

    Cheers, thanks alot!

I wish he'd kept that in the set list as opposed to Tell the Truth which I find really slow live.

I guess the Whitby Bay show isn't worth tracking down then

I think this may be the first gig in Roth's career where he played with 2 guitarists.

He had brought all the stuff with him that he hadn't on the European Skyscraper tour so a boxing ring with pissing devils, flying surfboard, big inflatable legs and so on. To me it felt a little gimmicky but an A for effort I guess and generous to a crowd in a small arena hall of 3 or 4 thousand.

There were some technical problems that night and it was the first time I saw the other side of Roth as in frustration he threw his mike as hard as he could at the face of a roadie.

My other memory from that night was this gorgeous girl wearing very little tapping my shoulder and asking for a kiss. I looked around and seeing that my girlfriend was away to the restroom went for it.

It was a bit of a knock to the ego when she then asked the next guy along for a kiss. I watched as she slowly worked her way along the whole row I can only think for a bet or something.

Roth fans are a rare breed...

I'm laughing at the huge cheer 6 minutes into Easy Street when Dave says 'from what I read I'm the only fucking American in this country'.

This was around the time of the first Gulf war when lots of US artists, movie stars and tourists in general were canceling trips to the UK.

This had been causing some bad feeling as well as showing their retarded knowledge of geography...

From watching other boots from the ALAE Euro leg, Dave seems quite up for it.

From what I've heard of the US leg, this was quite different and he just talked the songs really, with an almost totally back catalogue set list.

Even in this clip of him doing ALAE(which I assume is from US leg, it certainly isn't the Paris gig as I have that and that's NOT it) seems more subdued than the Euro leg, half hearted stage movements by DLR standards!

    I don't know, any takers?

It could be June 13th 1991, seeing as 06.13 is in the filename! I think that was also the first night of the ALAE US tour, well, from what I've seen on other sites.

I just don't think it's part of the Euro tour because on those setlists it was always Panama before ALAE, and in this one Panama follows it(you can hear it at the end). Plus DLR is far less energetic than on all the Euro gigs I've seen, the mood seems different.

Talking of the setlist, it really shows how something has gone very badly wrong with Roth's career at this point in his eyes at least.

He only plays 1 song off of each of his first two solo albums, 3/4 of the novelty EP and almost the whole of his latest one???

This show would have been so so much better with Jason Becker playing the new stuff plus his interpretation of 4 or 5 Vai songs and more CVH.

It could have been worse Sesh, look at the setlist for a US gig..

Only TWO songs from ALAE, virtually an admission of defeat before it began..

I agree tho, that said, EEAS over Skyscraper, I don't think Knucklebones or Stand Up are much of a miss. I guess Vai's licks were a bit tricky for Holmes..

Wow how long was the US set?

It looks about 20-25 minutes shorter which is getting towards Ozzy shortness for a headliner

It was due to him effectively co-headlining with Cinderella, with Extreme opening..

No wonder the tour didn't last too long.
