    What was wrong with it?

I think people should cut Paul a little more slack.Paul Stanley is one the greatest Rock frontmen/vocalists of all time. This is a guy who has been singing for a living since the very early 70's,Not just singing easy songs but really pushing to the top of his range.Up until the past 3 years or so his voice has been bullet proof.I know his voice now is no way what it was,And he seems to have lost access to his high register/head voice but what do people expect?.40 years of singing high octane, demanding rock is bound to catch up sooner or later

How wonderfully endearing. And how shamelessly pathos inspired.
I highly doubt that if a KISS fan named Christine is raped and murdered before the concert she was supposed to go to that it would be an appropriate thing to sing "Christine Sixteen"

I do feel like if a KISS fan commits suicide, a proper song for the band to do in his or her honor is sing Reason To Live from the Crazy Nights album. RTL is such a beautiful song about holding on to life.

I don't rate them at their peak never mind now.

It can't be about the music for Ki$$ fans it's more a tribe/club thing.

The music has always been pretty mediocre.

For me it is about the music mostly.I love Paul's voice and i love the songs. There is no deep message behind a lot of the songs,It's just about having a good time. What's not to love?

There is a Kiss song for every mood so next time you feel happy,Pissed off or anything remember Sesh Kiss are there for you

Kiss isn't exactly "high octane, demanding rock."

Paul Stanley is quite easy to imitate...

Just do Michael McDonald and add a jersey shore drama queen accent and that's it...

Seriously even though some of the music may not be all that hard vocally it is challenging.Listen to Asylum for example,Can you sing any of it?

And what I read "high octane demanding rock" I think Judas Priest, Metal Church, Slayer, Megadeth, etc...

                            Not Kiss...

Kiss was seen as pretty much a younger kids band back in the early 80's before they took their make off...

Yeah, but these days I strain on the high stuff just like Stanley does, but he does have nearly 20 years on me...

Stanley really was one of the best live rock singers, especially in the 80's...

He screams homo though, even more than Dave...
