Anybody ever hear the Kiss Killers cd? Was just wondering if the 4 studio songs that were done for that album were any good. I heard Kulick was on guitar instead of Ace but no big surprise since Ace was barely on The Elder. Let me know who you guys think.
RIDE TO LIVE, LIVE TO RIDE
LET `EM ROLL ONE MORE TIME
Much appreciated. If the 4 tracks were decent i would get it. I was hoping maybe they were like Creatures of the Night. Oh well.....
It also depends on which version of the album you are thinking of picking up. The Japanese and Australian releases have additional tunes not on the European release. It isn't completely awful, and if you can get it from a cut-out bin for a couple of dollars, it's worth the purchase. But certainly don't pay full price for it.

The Classic Rock Magazine website claims there will be a MASSIVE Kiss announcement tomorrow...
Classic Rock Blog Archive Major Kiss News Coming!
OK, I'll speculate.......
Ace and Peter are back in the band for another Farewell Tour....
They'll tour without the makeup on but the Ace and Peter imitators will have to get
re- constructive surgery to look exactly the Unmasked lineup
Paul finally admits he's gay and they'll remake classic tunes from the gay-pride movement....YMCA being the first hit off the new album.
Gene and Paul will step down from Ki$$ but will have two actors replace them.....Liza Minnelli is rumored to be playing the part of Paul.
Rock Star:KISS, eh? So...Simmons and Stanley are going to hand-pick their own replacements, allowing them to retire from the road yet allow KISS to continue to tour infinitely. Is that the general idea?
Absolutely. They have already hinted that they plan for Kiss to go on when Simmons and Stanley retire. The money mongers that they are, they want to see if they can still cash in if Kiss were to keep touring when they are unable to. I guess they figure there are always going to be mullets that still go see the theatrical show regardless of who the players are. Dispicable.
I thought it would be something major like they were going to start marketing KISS paper towels or KISS chewing gum.
Don't put it past Gene at this point. Check out the mind-numbing variety of odds and ends he has for sale here.
Come to think of it, I still have some KISS bubblegum cards in my "Originals" album, somewhere around here.

Another one of those classic genius posts, sure to generate responses. You log on the next day to see what your witty gem has produced to find no one gets it and 2 knotheads want to stick their dicks in it... Well played, sir!!
Take the makeup off!!!!! Announce that!!!
you're not necessarily a jack ass, but that post needed to br groaned at and puked upon
Burn those retinas without warning!!!
So is that KISS Rockstar CBS show officially confirmed or photoshopped?.....lol....
Nothing new at KISSWORLD, but it's still early in the day yet.
Oh, boy...today, KISS announced a new line of plush-toys. That's the big announcement?
Classic Rock said they were releasing the news through their newsletter...
I didn't bother signing up for it.
Apparently it's a club gig in the U.K. I keep forgetting that CRM is a British fanzine.
KISS WORLD: KISS To Play Special Classic Rock London Club Show
A club gig. WOW!!! That certainly is a MAJOR announcement!
Intimate UK Club Show in March 2010 in advance of the "Sonic Boom Over Europe: From The Beginning To The Boom" European Tour May / June 2010
Rock legends KISS are set to bring their new "Sonic Boom Over Europe: From the Beginning To the Boom" tour to Europe in Summer 2010.
In advance of the full European tour, KISS will play a special one-off club show at London's O2 Academy Islington on 2nd March 2010. With just 500 tickets available to the public, this show is a rare chance for fans to see one of the world's biggest bands in an intimate venue.
Says KISS frontman Paul Stanley: "We thought this was the perfect opportunity to do something a bit crazy. With all the buzz about our upcoming tour, we thought, let's come to London, strip it down, turn it up and blow the roof off the O2 Academy. What better way to say 'thank you' to our most devoted fans than to pummel them?"
So no TV show.....lol.....
That would have been quite the train wreck. Maybe in 2011..........
I read recently where Paul took it back about KI$$ going on with no original members. He basically said it didn't make sense. Ha, the financials must have come back in and said they would sell zero tickets.
Ugh.
Bad enough the band continued to slog along after Frehley and Criss left, but at least Stanley and Simmons still had to go out and physically sing for their supper.
KISS without any of the originals...what the fuck IS that? I mean, when Simmons mentioned that several years back, I thought he was just talking out of his ass. There are enough old-time bands still creaking along on the live circuit with half or less of either their original or definitive lineups. If KISS manages to make the leap (am sure other bands have done it, but these are usually lesser acts like, say, Starship featuring Mickey Thomas, or Stephen Pearcy's Ratt - acts not as big as KISS that have only one member in them from any lineup that mattered) to a lineup where NOBODY in the group was an original...I mean, well, fuck it.
Who gives a shit?
At that point, Frehley and Criss ought to be able to go out billed as KISS, regardless of Stanley or Simmons participating.
Fucked up part of it was that back in 1996 Stanley and Simmons seemed to see the light in terms of knowing what people wanted to see with KISS, and in essence admitting that Frehley and Criss were part of that desire. Ever since they figured they could still make the money as long as four people were up there in makeup, Stanley and Simmons got greedy. However, this is the first real sign that they're getting lazy on top of it.
E1 And KISS Team Up To Create New TV Series - Mar. 9, 2010
Leading independent studio E1 Entertainment has finalized a production and development deal with legendary rock band KISS. E1 will tap the worldwide enthusiasm for the KISS brand, collaborating with founding members Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley to create a comedic half-hour kids television series that galvanizes the band's iconic personas for its young fans.
"We're honored to be involved in carrying on the KISS legacy," comments Frank Saperstein, Senior VP of Kids and Animation for E1. "It's wonderful to collaborate with the creative forces behind one of the greatest rock bands of all time and unquestionably one of the most recognized worldwide."
E1 has snagged the KISS brand as it eclipses its roots, building energy in new family and youth media outlets. KISS's role as the face of Dr. Pepper, their significant presence during Super Bowl XLIV, and their appearance on the 2009 "American Idol" finale, which reached over thirty million viewers, has made the make-up and leather-clad giants a household name for kids and families today. The KISS tradition continues to grow generation after generation transcending age, race and creed.
"KISS continues to be the juggernaut of licensing and merchandising, from KISS M&M's to KISS Dr Pepper," remarks KISS co-founder Gene Simmons, "KISS is a band, but also the only music BRAND. Continuing in our 35-year history of going where no band has gone before, we are proud to partner with E1. Like all things KISS, we intend to make this a very special show for our fans."
"We couldn't be more excited. Coupling E1's successes and ingenuity with the global force of KISS guarantees an express pass into the homes of our youngest KISS Army members with a show of superior quality," adds KISS co-founder Paul Stanley.
The as-yet-untitled series will be produced and distributed worldwide by E1. Executive Producers are John Morayniss and Frank Saperstein for E1 Entertainment; Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley of KISS. E1 and KISS will handle all licensing and merchandise for the series.
Gene Simmons has thrown down the gauntlet to The Rolling Stones and U2 to compete with Kiss as the (admittedly self-proclaimed) hottest band in the land.
Talking to XFM, Simmons said: “I would love to play on the same stage as U2, the Stones and anybody out there who considers themselves a world champion. You come on up on that stage with us, baby. Show me what you got, and then we’ll show you what the big boys do.”
This is perhaps the greatest piece of rock band duelling since Twisted Sister threatened Manowar and Hanoi Rocks with a punch-up in London’s Covent Garden nearly 30 years ago! You can read all about that right here.
Yawn, maybe if this were 1978....

A little Kiss related news - From the Eddie Trunk interview conducted recently with Ace Frehley. The question is whether Ace has talked to Gene/Paul recently, to which Ace answered that Gene called him when he was doing a radio interview 3-4 months ago, and Ace says Gene offered him an opportunity to "rejoin the group as a reality television show".
It does seem to make a certain amount of sense: Gene and Paul are such bland personalities at this point (leading to Simmon's own reality show to be scripted to the point of fiction) that any KISS version would need contributions of a guy like Ace to perk things up. This is why every reality show (from American Idol to Dancing With The Stars, from Survivor to The Real World) has to have one person in the cast that can be counted on to "bring the drama". Unfortunately for KISS, Frehley seems to have cleaned up his act as these days, so the entire enterprise is about 15 years too late.
Speaking of KISS and kids type products/games.
Looks like Gene will be the voice of Guitar Hero 6.
Destructoid - Gene Simmons confirms Guitar Hero 6
++++
My wife also said that Simmons Family Jewels is back on A&E for another season. Did anyone watch the new episode? did it suck?
