I saw VH there on the Fair Warning tour in '81. 7th row center. $13 dollars and 50 cents.
I saw VH there in 2008 also. It's called the Dunkin Donuts center now.

The rejected artwork was the one with the red cover and the 'Alive!' costumes.
Sunuvabitch. I bought Destroyer off the rack and have been a fan ever since.
Never even know about the earlier cover. Some fan I am...

I hope they still plan on including the full Houston 1976 DVD with the Destroyer Deluxe Edition.

Saw Van Halen there in 1984. Ticket was $14.

Saw quite a few bands there, actually.

Yeah, people call it "The Dunk" now. It'll always be the Civic Center in my book, though.

Kiss and the Crue? where do I sign up for that? I'm hearing Motley May hang it up after their Vegas run.

Kiss are opening their own crazy golf course in Las Vegas this week.
The Kiss By Monster Mini Golf site has a grand opening on Thursday, March 15. It will have a glow-in-the-dark mini golf course, as well an arcade, party rooms and wedding chapel.

Says Gene Simmons of the enterprise: “This venue is perfect for Las Vegas. Where else can you go play a round of Kiss By Monster Mini Golf, and then renew your wedding vows in an official Kiss Hotter Than Hell Wedding Chapel? Only in Vegas.”
