$13,000,000.00+ to record a blase' album that barely sold and will never return even a fraction of the cash that went into it. Brilliant fucking move. Chinese Democracy is proof positive that the public at large gave up on Guns 'n' Roses in the mid 90's. There's no other way to dismiss it or excuse it.
Axl better get used to playing to five hundred people a night pretty damn quickly, because that's what's in his immediate future. His arena show/rock star days are long, long gone now.

Any accounting shows the album was limited release. I do not approve of targeted draining of corporations. However, In a corporate environment where fraud is expected from the executives as part of their recouping cost. I do not feel sorry one damn bit for the release and abandonment of a milked project. Anyone that has spent any time on the GnR boards has plenty of free "sneaked" releases. Axl has a strong fan base. His ethical choice to milk a project was a choice he made. Now, when he goes on tour he will play the "tickets under the table" game.
