From the background and Dave's necklace I guess that pic was taken when Dave went to New Guinea along with his adventure team called Jungle Stud in 1985.......too young to be bald, though.

These photos were taken around 1985, because the colour of Dave`s hair matches other, photos from that year!
I think these photos fuel the rumour, that Dave is older than the 1954, year of birth he claims!

Hmmmm, from this receding hairline shot, I would guess about 1988 or '89.
He must have been wearing some kind of glued frontal piece possibly to cover it for promo shots/concerts

If you searched the numerous bio's on the net you'd find Dave was born Oct 10, 1953 or 1954 or 1955... putting Dave at either 55, 54 or 53 years old. If memory serves me correctly I believe 1954 is the correct year. 55 was sighted early in the VH era but later admitted to being a ruse by the band.

Hair weaves... who gives a fuck? Clearly Dave's sported optional equipment on the roof for some time now. No big secret...
