The song was a great fit for Daltrey, which is more than I can say about some of the performances that day.

Iommi was acting as Queen's rhythm guitarist for the entire show. He and Brian May go back a long way, if I remember correctly.

Killer song except Tony's guitar was removed from the official release during this song because he ended up playing out of key during the guitar solo. They even edited alternate camera angles as not to show the glitch which Tony actually looked very uncomfortable.

    Grate songs.

However, the performers of the night were George Michael in "Somebody to Love" and Annie Lennox+Bowie in "Under Pressure". Seriously.

I remember my girlffriend (at the time) used to think that George Michael was the shit (vocally) and I used to tell her he doesn't have the pipes that Rob Halford, Ronnie Dio or Freddie Mercury has... then we watched him try to do "Somebody to Love".... LOL.... 'nuff said
