Napalm Up Your Ass! Upgrade??

Howdy,

I haven't been in these parts for a LONG TIME!!
Things have really changed since my last visit.

I have a quick question...
Cato's Napalm Up Your Ass DVD has been one of my favorite fan made DVDs for the last four years. I was wondering if there were any plans to reissue this classic compilation on a Dual Layer DVD-R with a higher video bit rate and PCM audio? The original Napalm Up Your Ass release from 2005 was pretty nice, however an upgrade featuring lossless audio would most definitely be appreciated.

glad to hear you like it.

yeah, upgrade is a good idea. my DVD authoring skill was not good at that time and I actually made an error on that one....did you notice there are some milli-second drop outs on audio track?

I'm not planning to re-make it at present because I'm busy to play in the arcade

but if I do it, upgrade version will be a 2 DVD set with PCM audio(VH part and DLR solo part).

Splitting the compilation onto 2 DVDs with PCM is a great idea!
Not everyone out there has access to Dual Layer DVD-Rs.

I have over a thousand fan made/bootleg concert DVD-Rs, and I always take time to check out 'Napalm' every few weeks. I have given away countless copies of 'Napalm' to friends over the years and they have all tremendously enjoyed it!

i actually have a program that will not only download it, but maintain the integrity of the video, even improve it, and it automatically converts it to .vob
format.

And someone should be recording the results and posting them.

whether it's in a club with 12 people or the local Target parking lot.

It just needs to be packaged with a creative marketing angle.
