I thought the headshot gif was pretty adequate... But it was almost too funny to watch.
And Gar, i'm in college classes at my high school now, i'm dually enrolled at the college.
I'm taking vocabulary tests using SAT-level words, many of which have never seen the tips of your fat little fingers.
Reading Crazy From the Heat in four hours flat, in a cramped RV, on the return trip of a 3,000+ mile family outing to New Jersey is an enlightening experience you'll never forget.
XLNT
Let me tell you about going bald - shave it all, all over and when you do the females want to rub it. All of it.
Not only was that completely irrelevant, but it contradicts itself...
14 y/ has no interest in females..

Kwappe K has much interest in observations of 14 y/ males

Ah little fella....I'm on ignore, remember........damn, do I have to help you to keep your lies straight now, Clay?

I'm sure you know enough by now to stay clear of grownups who talk bout other people's dicks... not him though.
Let's see some quotes little fella......
Your posts include admitting to pissing on little children and wiping your ass with Matchbox cars.....
That clip is from a thread on why I need a fart detector.
That post is proof you ARE one.
Well, Thrills, you are just the one to tell us that, eh?

CENSORSHIP!!
J/K Jay. Seriously, thank you for doing that. I didn't realize I had put a video that constantly plays. It's annoying. Cheers! <--- You!
Stopped off at a buddy's place to show him Frankie & pick up some fret tools to do the finishing touches on Frankies frets.
Totally freaked when he saw it in person, couldn't believe his eyes.
Buddy's a serious gearhead. Here's a couple of shots of Frankie posing for the paparazzi...
A Frankie sammich... Les Paul 50th Anniversary Gold Top (gold plated hardware) with his Taylor solidbody electric.
Posing in the humidor case....
He's got a nice assortment of vintage guitars that I have unlimited access to.
60's ES-335 dot, 66 Sunburst Strat (pristine, pic below..) Martin- Clapton sig plus a bunch more goodies.
Seeing as I'm in the midst of recording right now, thes beauties will come in handy...
Buddy's '66 Sunburst Fender Strat Front
And Back...
Heaven......
Also, he's thinkin about commissioning me to build him a Frankie and a few others (SRV, EC's "Blackie" were mentioned)
That sunburst on the body is a refin. You need a bigger touchup gun when you do things like that for him, at least a 3 inch fan width on the gun. And on the back, they didn't follow the cutaways, the black kinda angles up towards the neck pocket. This looks kinda odd..
Update: Frets crowned/polished. Swapped out the PAF with an original Dimarzio Norton.(NOT an "Air" Norton). I find the Norton a better match for this body. It has a smoother sound (compared to the PAF) when I roll back the volume (I mean "tone) knob.
Yeah, sounds pretty sweet. Bench tested it on the Line 6 with a Plexi type tone. Tight response with nice harmonic overtones.
Gonna crank 'er up through my main rig tomorrow for the real test. Sure, it's basically a wall ornament. But it'll be nice to know it can picked up, plugged in and and do some damage with it whenever it's played.
I was talkin to one of my friends who works for "said" chain instrument retailer. Told me to bring it by on a Saturday (insanely busy day for them) and he wants to put it up on the top row in the Fender section with one of those lock cable thingy's on it with a "Do not Touch" sign on it to watch what kind of crowd transpires. They've yet to stock a Fender "Frankie"™. I told him to try the "make an offer" angle for shits n giggles...
Uh, video footage...please.
Hmm, that might be interestingly funny. Hell "Baby's on Fire" might show up and start berating people for getting excited over a guitar built by a bunch of "dumb American's"!
I'm tellin' ya, potential comedy goldmine...
Well I read mostly the entire thread bypassing the GAR bs as best as I could and just have a COUPLE of things to say.
1. Kick Ass
2. I take back everything bad I ever said about Diamondjimi. Anybody that can do that has my full respect. That's just bad fuckin ass.
Mucho's gracias!
Two words DJ: Em Pressive!!!! Never noticed the quarter b4.
Pic of some early EVH axes, is that THE Frankenstrat w/ pickguard?

"Nothing gets a yak over a suspension bridge faster than 'Back in the Saddle Again' by Aerosmith" ~ DLR
Yup, the one and only in one of it's many incarnations...
A year or so ago my west coast brutha (and self confessed Gearwhore™) JHale was kind enough to gift me a 1971 US quarter for this project, and later sliding me a 37mm brass block to help a brother out! ( You Rock Bro! )
I've been dragging my feet on getting around to do the block upgrade. What got me going again was a good friend of mine introducing me to a good buddy of his who is not only a veteran guitarist and luthier (he was a sideman and or tech for many big recording artist's in the 70's & 80's).
He offered me a sweet deal to re-dress my frets, set my neck and intonation. Once I got the guitar back (in 2 days, practically unheard of in the biz ). So I finally got around to doing the brass block upgrade.
Started by having to remove 4 of the 6 saddles. So, before I lifted an Allen wrench, I marked their individual positions with white tape. Saves the hassle of re-intonating when it comes to re-assembly.
Unbelievable!
Now the guitars tone was already amazing... It was fucking stunning once I did the switch.
Tone was bigger, and the sustain increased substantially.
Sweet!
One of these days I am going to blow a few dollars on an aluminum stop tailpiece for my Gibson Flying V. Have heard it makes a real difference in tone.
Glad you like it, DJ!!
BUMP
Was offered $1000 recently...
No thanks. Have a nice day, Sir...
