. . . i was listening to a boot of a '79 performance in seattle, wa and in the breakdown of bottoms up! dave tells this wicked story of how he and al were playing poker in their hotel room after a show one night with a couple of crew members. when dave and al got up to leave with their winnings and go for a drink the other players wouldn't let them take their 85 bucks. so dave went into another room to get joe and and he came back a shotgun and said: "MOTHERFUCKERS, THIS IS JOE!!!"

A couple things....

1. As I said, if you keep your posts to DLR/VH matters, you're more than welcome as anyone else here (ok, most everyone)... The only thing we're asking is to stop providing a link back to your website, which has nothing to do with VH.... Many, many of us here have other websites that we're affiliated with, whether it's music, sports, military, etc...

Here's what you can do: In your User CP, go to "Edit Your Details"... Then in the middle of the page you'll see an entry for "Home Page URL"... Put your website's URL there, and all's well....

2. If you think that your "This is Joe" story is some sort of revelation in the VH message board community, then you've been drunk on Labatt's too long... This board has been around 10 fucking years, broham.... EVERY conceivable DLR/VH topic on the face of the earth has been painstakingly discussed, TIME and TIME and TIME again.... So if you think you're actually bringing up "fresh" topics on this board or any other VH board, think again... By the way, I bought the Seattle '79 bootleg album drunk off my ass in a Seoul, Korea bar in 1985 with a crisp $50 bill....

So put your website in the section I described, and all's well....
