It takes a lot of nerve to cover a UK SUBS song, but, they didn't care. The OG lineup of GnR giving it their best shot.

Never thought I would hear "Metal Yes". Surprisingly it works.
Best (man hole) cover of ALL TIME
Sounds like they must have been dropping a lot of acid & listening to old Yoko Ono records right before recording that.
Almost forget this one. Well, thank fuck I didn't
I'm so cool. You're not.

Another spin on Joe Jackson's "Got The Time" here. Just as metal as the Anthrax version, but with accordions.....

The guy doing the Eddie solo starts around 08:00. Does a pretty good job, I think...
What If EVH or Eric Johnson Played the “Stairway to Heaven” Solo? (Feat. Eric Johnson)
Dolly Parton... backed by two Beatles and a guitar player who was in that ridiculous 70s Sgt Pepper movie......
Dunno if this was already posted or not.
Kids covering Led Zeppelin's Black dog. The one on guitar/vocals is awesome.

I like that the kid is using old school stomp boxes.
I can't say, considering the age of the kids, that it wasn't impressive.
Even more impressive? If a few years down the line the kids come up with their own tunes that sound good on their own terms. THAT is what I'm waiting for. No disrespect to the kids (because, hey, they're kids) but I'm beyond the point where watching amateur musicians covering other people's tunes - even if the covers are dead-on in terms of accuracy - elicits anything from me other than mild boredom. I'm waiting for all these youtuber copycat guitarists to go beyond replicating someone else and produce compelling music of their own.

I agree with you, Terry. Of course covering tunes, be it really well, doesn't compare with composing pertinent, original music.
But this (13 year-old, must be) kid's musical abilities and self assurance are just tremendous.
Time will tell if he persists in playing guitar and reaches top level. For sure, that's another story.
After all, in their early twenties the Stones themselves didn't create their own songs anyway.
Nowadays' kids playing good old rock 'n' roll these days is invigorating, IMO.
