Which bands have you seen most often?

Off to see Porcupine Tree tonight. Not sure why I'm going exactly...seen them 4 times before and am starting to tire of them. I think its just force of habit.

So-random question of the day: Which bands have you seen most often?

Dunno why I'm asking, I don't really care. I think I'm just bored.

    Me:

    Motorhead (8)
    Porcupine Tree (5 after tonight)
    Southside Johnny (4)
    Alice Cooper (3)
    The Darkness (3)
    Queen + Paul Rodgers (3)
    Velvet Revolver (3)

Plus, I always seem to bump into Spike from the Quireboys as a support act.

Interestinly, it doesn't really form an accurate list of my favourite bands.

dlr solo (including vs. spammy) 5-6. the early eighties and all the nineties were very drunken years.

i honestly think poison is up there next (not so proud) 4-5 soooo many chix there tho.

def leppard, queensryche, motley crue, cinderella, and a few other assorted hair bands 3 timesish between alpine valley, milwaukee venues, and madison wi. 1985-98.

atomic punks? 10 or more at least.

That is an impressive list. I would have love to have seen classic VH and the Sabbath versions including Dio, Gillan and Martin. Very cool.

I don't go to shows 1/10's as much as I used to... nor can I remember every one...

Those I've seen the most would be:

ZZ Top (probably the most from 72-present)
    VH & DLR
    SRV
    Led Zeppelin
    Pink Floyd
    Ac/Dc
    Lynyrd Skynyrd
    Outlaws
    Marshall Tucker Band
    Alman Bros
    Doobie Bros
    BB King
    Hubert Sumlin
Fabulous T-Birds & Jimmie Vaughan solo
    Eric Johnson
    Buddy Guy
    Aerosmith (mostly 70's & early 80's)
    Jeff Beck
    Pat Travers
    Frank Marino & Mohagany Rush
    Ted Nugent
    Joe Walsh

    Shit.

I'll trade you for some of that.

Especially Prince (I missed his O2 residency). Man, he just brings a party to town.

I've seen VH 16 times... but only 6 of those were with DLR in 07/08.

After that, I've seen pearl Jam about 10-12 times and AIC about 8 or 9 times..

Right on man. Here's one from 1997 outside of Minneapolis at Edge fest, right accross the boarder in Wisconsin. I can't remember who Head-lined...I wanna say Stone Temple Pilots , but they had like 30 bands over 2 days. Fuckin' rocked!!! 50,000 people, and I turned 21 just a couple months earlier...yeah, I had fun!!

    No harsh taken, dude.

I have explained in years past why I saw van hagar 1.5 times.

5150 tour, naturally I had to see what van hagar was going to be about.

After that night I decided it was a load of shit. Saw Uncle Dave on EEAS tour, 8/30/86, and they made van hagar look like what they were...a fucking joke.

Then, the Monsters Of Rock tour came to Kansas City at Royals Stadium 2 years later. 707, Kingdom Come, Metallica, Scorpions and van hagar.

I went to see the other bands. Decided I would wait until sPed began his solo, then I would walk out on him.

I walked out of Royals Stadium, listening to his solo, got in my car, and drove away. That was my .5 X.

On the OU812 tour, they came to Wichita. My roommate and all my friends had tickets. I had the money, and the time. They could not understand why I refused to go.

"Simple", I said. "Spambot ruined Van Halen, and there is no fucking way I am going to waste any more money seeing a fucking POP band".

Now that i think about it, i'll have to agree with a previous poster regarding Cinderella. It seems like there for a period of time they were opening for everyone that i went to see such as Roth and the one time i saw Bon Jovi (Slippery When Wet/ 1986) I remember i had seen Roth 3 times on the EEAS tour with Cinderella opening. I bought the ticket to see Bon Jovi and found out Cinderella had jumped tours and were opening. I thought, how many times do i have to see this damn band? Not that i don't like them but enough was enough. Tesla falls into that same category. I saw them open for Roth on EEAS and countless others.
