My first "real" amp was a 50 watt Hiwatt. Wish I still had it....

Yep , this bastard is fucking unbelievably LOUD. I will have to sort a few issues with it ... keeps blowing fuses , but is a honest well used and abused Hiwatt , a bit of tlc here and there and were in buisness.

I solved the fuse blowing problem , wrong value fuses ! and I think i'll treat it to a cap job..... I paid £800 for this amp and although it's been gigged for the last 25 years with my mate from whom I bought it , and almost certainly been gigged since 1972 I feel I got quite a bargain.

1972 DR 103 ... fuck ... I'm still blown away that I finally own one .... I was only three years old when this fucker was crafted by Dave Reeves / Harry Joyce , proper vintage Hiwatt .
