Help with HTML?

I just got HTML code for something I created online. I'm trying to put it on my website, but the program I use doesn't seem to want HTML. Any ideas about ANYWHERE I could put this on the INterweb where people could see it? Facebook? I suppose I could paste it here and see what happes.....

Oh, now I see Twona's question. Yes, it's Emily's pedigree. Just a plain old dog or horse family tree. I would like to take it back even more generations, but this program only allowed for six.

The content isn't important. And in fact, it shows up here pretty darned well without the colors and correct fonts, and with some slashes where apostrophes should be. All the header space - no idea. but while I can put the code in here, and have it come up, my own website will not convert it, and just shows the HTML language. Program is very dumbbed down - and I'm sure if I edited my site in Frontpage I could get it to work, but frankly, I don't have the patience to start it all over again.
