Another one of those classic genius posts, sure to generate responses. You log on the next day to see what your witty gem has produced to find no one gets it and 2 knotheads want to stick their dicks in it... Well played, sir!!
Ditto! ... I've been a fan of the Packers since I was about 8 or 9 years old. They used to really stink when I first started watching them ...
I remember a comment by then-NFL commentator Jerry Glanville, who said of the Green Bay Packers in the early 1990s--just before the Mike Holmgren/Ron Wolf-era (paraphrasing): "If you're not cheatin', you're not tryin'!" ...
This is from Packers.com: Charles Woodson Named NFC Defensive Player Of The Month ...
DEFENSE: CB CHARLES WOODSON, GREEN BAY PACKERS
• Woodson had 20 tackles, two interceptions - including a 45-yard touchdown - and seven passes defensed. Green Bay went 4-1 during the month and finished the regular season by winning seven of the final eight games.
• The Green Bay defense finished the season ranked No. 1 in the NFC allowing 284.4 yards per game. The Packers led the NFL with 30 interceptions, 40 takeaways and a +24 turnover differential.
• Woodson had two interceptions during the month, including one in Week 17 against Arizona that he returned 45 yards for a touchdown. He recorded a career-high nine interceptions this season, tied for the most in the NFL. His three interception-return touchdowns also tied for the most in the league.
• Since joining the team in 2006, Woodson ranks second in the NFL with 28 interceptions and leads the league with seven interception-return touchdowns. His eight defensive touchdowns with the Packers are a franchise record.
• In his 12th season from Michigan, this is Woodson's fourth career Player of the Month Award and third this season (September, November). He is the only player to be named NFC Defensive Player of the Month multiple times in a season. He joins Pro Football Hall of Famer BARRY SANDERS and former Indianapolis kicker MIKE VANDERJAGT as the only players to win the award three times in a season.
Congratulations, Mr. Woodson!

Yes. :0 The reason I thought that is because they beat a Saints team that was struggling, they beat a dysfunctional Redskin team and Philly's offense looked unstoppable. The years past gave me reason not to believe in them. I still don't trust our Boys, but if they beat Philly this Saturday, then I believe they finally grew a pair these past few games. Since the rest of our games will be indoors, I think they have a great shot. IF they beat Philly, they'll go to the SuperBowl.
If the Cowboys don't make it, I'm pulling for the Packers.
i would start pullin' now, just for practice, ya know.
Check this cool video out! ... It's from NFL Network by way of Packers.com ...

I think he's fantastic! ... Especially for a rookie! Former coach and now Fox News commentator, Brian Billick, mentioned in the video that he has moves that are more reminiscent of a veteran than a rookie.
And, did you hear the news? ... Matthews has been nominated for NFL Rookie-Of-the-Year! ... See the following link to cast as many votes for him as you have the stomach for--I voted for him ten times! ...
Green Bay Packers' LB Clay Matthews Nominated For NFL Rookie-Of-the-Year Honors
...
Oh, and I PROBABLY SHOULD mention--though I'd rather not, considering all of the Vikings' fans here ... :tongue0011: ... that Vikings' WR Percy Harvin has also been nominated for NFL Rookie-Of-the-Year Honors ...
Packers OUT!
Favre would of won that game!

Grant County man charged with assaulting wife; blames Packers
By Craig D. Reber
LANCASTER, Wis. — A Grant County man apparently let the Green Bay Packers’ overtime loss to the Arizona Cardinals get the better of him.
Jeffrey M. Leffler, 45, was arrested for domestic abuse and disorderly conduct after Grant County Sheriff’s Department deputies were summoned to a residence on Hilldale Road in North Lancaster Township after receiving a 911 call around 9 p.m. Sunday. Authorities said Leffler was arrested after he grabbed his wife, Tammy, 36, around the neck Sunday night. Deputies said he told investigators he was ornery over the Packers’ 51-45 playoff loss to the Cardinals.
He was taken to the Grant County Jail where he was later released after posting bond.

Here is a totally awesome--not to mention cool--web page from NFL.com that contains an article titled, "Where does Packers-Cards rank among greatest wild-card games?", not to mention a video and a poll ... Great read/watch!!! ...
Here are some excerpts from the article ...
On Sunday afternoon in Glendale, Ariz., after three blowouts to start the postseason, the Green Bay Packers and Arizona Cardinals put the wild back in Wild Card Weekend.
"That's probably one of the best games ever played in the playoffs," said Cardinals coach Ken Whisenhunt, moments after his team beat Green Bay 51-45 in overtime in the highest-scoring playoff game in NFL history.
It certainly ranks up there in a postseason history littered with great games, and might be the greatest wild-card game ever played. Here's a look, in chronological order, of 10 of the most memorable wild-card games ever played (make sure to vote for your favorite in our poll and get in on the debate in our comments section):
...
1993 playoffs: Packers 28, Lions 24
Down 17-7 midway through the third quarter after an interception TD return by Lions CB Melvin Jenkins, Brett Favre helped Green Bay mount a comeback. Rolling out to his left, Favre threw across his body to hit Sterling Sharpe for a 40-yard touchdown pass with 55 seconds left that gave the Packers the victory. It was the third scoring play the dynamic duo had connected on in the game. The Packers were also aided by a 101-yard interception return by safety George Teague that give the Packers a 21-17 advantage. The Lions regained the lead on running back Derrick Moore's 5-yard touchdown before Favre and Sharpe connected on a miraculous winning score.
1998 playoffs: 49ers 30, Packers 27
With three seconds left and the Packers leading 27-23, Steve Young hit receiver Terrell Owens at the goal line surrounded by a pack of defenders for the winning touchdown and the seventh lead change of the game. It was sweet payback for the 49ers, who had been eliminated by Green Bay in each of the previous three seasons. Owens' 25-yard TD reception, known as The Catch II, wouldn't have been possible if the officials had not ruled Jerry Rice down before he fumbled on the winning drive (replays showed Rice had clearly lost the ball before hitting the ground, but coaching challenges were still a decade away). Owens was an unlikely hero for the 49ers, who saw their No. 2 receiver drop four passes in the game and lose a fumble.
...
2003 playoffs: Packers 33, Seahawks 27 (OT)
This game became known as much for what was said at the coin flip to determine possession in overtime as for what happened in the extra period. "We want the ball, and we're going to score," announced Seahawks quarterback Matt Hasselbeck for all of Lambeau Field and a national TV audience to hear. Seattle took the ball and after three-and-outs by each team, the Seahawks got the ball back for a second possession in OT, but Hasselbeck threw an interception to Packers CB Al Harris, who returned it 52 yards for the winning score in the first playoff game ever to be won in overtime with a defensive touchdown (the second happened on Sunday in the Green Bay-Arizona game).
I had the immense (!) pleasure of having watched all three of the above playoff games ... I can still remember (from the 1993 Packers-Lions Wildcard game) that awesome 40-yard touchdown pass to Sterling Sharpe by Brett Favre, LOL! ...
