    NHL Scoring Title 2009-2010

    H. Sedin Van 55
    J. Thornton | SJS 55
    M. Gaborik | NYR 52
    A. Ovechkin | WSH 50
    S. Crosby | PIT 48

A Vancouver Canuck in the lead for the NHL Scoring Title??? I think I must be dreaming.

I always thought Henrik was the better of the two twins.

With his brother Daniel out for a couple of months, Henrik discovered he could shoot the puck instead of setting up Daniel.

What's even better is that these guys are locked up at 6 million each with one of the best goalies in the world.

Who will win this years title and why?

    Ovechkin...

There are still NHL teams in Canada?...
"Van Halen was one of the most hallelujah, tailgate, backyard, BBQ, arrive four hours early to the gig just for the parking lot bands. And still to this day is. It's an attitude. I think it's a spirit more than anything else is."

Yeah...the only reason that there aren't 3 or 4 teams moving to Canada next season is that Stern has just enough votes to keep him in power.

The time is closing in when he won't be able to continue with his failed vision for the NHL.

A number of owners want him long gone and are tired of paying for Stern's mistakes each and every year. Nice to see the Phoneix players rising above all the BS.

Gaborik is the biggest surprise of this year after Henrik.

    Sedin Takes Art Ross

    http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/story/?id=317698

Toronto, ON (Sports Network) - Vancouver's Henrik Sedin won the Art Ross Trophy while Pittsburgh's Sidney Crosby and the Lightnings' Steven Stamkos shared the Maurice Richard Trophy.

Sedin took home the points trophy thanks to his 112-point mark, three better than Crosby and Washington's Alex Ovechkin. Sedin is the first Cancuk to ever win the Art Ross and became the ninth player in the past nine seasons to win the hardware.

"It is a great honor to win this trophy, the names of past winners are many of the players we looked up to growing up in Sweden," said Sedin.

Crosby and Stamkos split the goal-scoring title as Crosby scored twice and Stamkos netted one goal on Sunday as each finished the campaign with 51 goals. It's the first time the trophy has been split since 2003-04 when Rick Nash, Jarome Iginla and Ilya Kovalchuk all tied with 41 goals.

Crosby became the first Penguin to reach 50 goals since Jaromir Jagr in 2000-01 while Stamkos became the youngest 50-goal scorer since Jimmy Carson did it for Los Angeles in 1987-88.

Also, New Jersey's Martin Brodeur collected his fifth career William Jennings Trophy as the goaltender for the club that finished the season giving up the fewest goals.

Brodeur played in 77 games and went 45-25-6 with a 2.24 goals against average. He led the league in shutouts with nine as the Devils gave up a league-low 191 goals.
