Not to derail this thread (if that is even possible) but that GW cover reminded me that one of the more surprising tracks on that new Slash album is indeed the tune he cut with M. Shadows. Maybe it has to do with the vocals to an extent, but the guitar parts that Slash came up with really do justice to what could be an Avenged Sevenfold tune. And yes, I mean that as a compliment.
