It's over a year since I got my latest build done (the one with the Ti block)... No complaints yet on the overall tone.

Easy fix, minimal (additional) wood lost...

Surely you can't really pull up as it will hit the wall of the cavity?

It's not something I do very often but something to consider...
Yeah, on certain bodies you may need to modify the cavity a bit if you want to pull up more than say, 2 steps. The block fit in my Warmoth body with no issues, but I DID have to work with the guy at KnE to make sure their future routs accomodate 'em. I basically copied the difference in the Warmoth cavity on the KnE with a pencil and sent it back to him, he worked out a new CNC rout that fits them with no issues.

I have Ti blocks in 2 guitars and Brass in 2...one of which may get swapped for one of the Copper ones I got from Adam at NAMM last year...

Heh....went back to the beginning...2 years ago when the gay buddies Garfail And ButtFag were still around. Made for some hilarious entertainment!

Couple of interesting comments from daze of yore:

Quick and easy answer is on the song "Cheap Sunglasses"....the intro to the middle-eight/guitar solo....there is a clean chimey guitar playing chords.....then there is a rhythm-pickup guitar with whammy dive bombs on a medium note (not too low or high) with some echoes on it.

Just reading the above asinine comment, that part of that song appeared in my head.....

Then, who can ever forget this classic bit of stoop-idity:

    Wow. Hims was smart!

Imapus Sylicker did a masterful job in bitch-slapping the little fools around, too!

    Another highlight:

Guitars are kind of funny. Sometimes you have one that just shouldn't do what it can. 70's three bolt Strats are supposed to not sustain well. Mine does. Also a standard Strat is supposed to not stay in tune well. For some reason mine does. I've had others that wouldn't. Just strange stuff.

We know how no two are alike. It is common sense, but yes....the results are stranger than fiction sometimes...
