    Good Ole' Bernie Kosar

    Bernie, Bernie...Oh Baby...

    everything's gotta go...yeah...yeah...yeah..yeah...yeah...yeah...

Ah, yes, Bernie Kosar has assets of around $10 million...

and he's got debt of nearly $20 million.

All of his assets are getting sold off...to pay his creditors...

His initial filing said he owed $1.5 million to the Cleveland Browns, the team he played for from 1985 to 1993. He also owed $3 million to his ex-wife and more than $9 million to a bank for bad real estate deals. He also needed to repay a personal loan of $725,000 from the owner of the Cleveland Gladiators, an Arena Football League team. The 46-year-old Kosar divorced in 2007 and last year saw his steakhouse go out of business.
Guess we can figure out why nobody is listening to Kosar with regards to anything...

    poor sap...

      Mangini speaks to Kosar weekly

Auctually, he was helping more and more with the offensive coordinator the last four weeks of the season (Where we won 4 straight) and I have a feeling he sort of nudged Lerner over to go hire Holmgren, who just so happens to come from his Favorite coaching tree.
Still waiting for a relevant Browns Team

ESPN has a series of films called 30 For 30. A recent episode about the University of Miami featured an interview with Kosar, and he looked and sounded awful. He appeared to be at least 25 pounds overweight, and had the slurred, raspy voice of a hardcore alcoholic. His mannerisms were so disturbing I wondered if he was completely loaded for the taping.
