That's funny - I always thought wherever I worked at the time was the worst place to work.

I was thinking along the same lines - if Hardrock doesn't like working there, it's not like they're putting a gun to his head.

Just look for another job, doctor that resume to match, then leave! It's harder to get a job, if you don't have a job I know.. I used to have a job years ago now I just make my own money.

But don't quit Gibson until you find another job to go to, even if it's a 7-11 or a KFC. Man, I loved working at KFC I could eat all I want and nobody would say nothin..

Where do other companies like Fender,Peavey, PRS,Carvin etc rank?

Fender - Private group owners held by Dan Smith with Yamato Music Japan owning 70 percent.

Peavey - Privately owned and held by Hartley Peavey.

PaulReedSmith - sold his soul in 1989 for 500K but still pulls a paycheck there.

Carvin - it's a weird one.. it's a private group, but like Peavey it's family I think one grandkid and one cousin of the originator own it.
