    But don't quit Gibson until you find another job to go to, even if it's a 7-11 or a KFC. Man, I loved working at KFC I could eat all I want and nobody would say nothin..

      Fender - Private group owners held by Dan Smith with Yamato Music Japan owning 70 percent.

      Peavey - Privately owned and held by Hartley Peavey.

      PaulReedSmith - sold his soul in 1989 for 500K but still pulls a paycheck there.

      Carvin - it's a weird one.. it's a private group, but like Peavey it's family I think one grandkid and one cousin of the originator own it.
