I don't know though... this is the second item mentioning Dave working with other artists outside of Van Halen lately.

I hope he's got a note from the Howdy Doody Home Office authorizing this... history has proven outside tribal activities is the fast path off the Van Halen island.

Did these kids look at any of Dave's video after - oh say 1989? Like - did they see the Barbeque? I have to wonder which style they like - or if they like it all cause it's very diverse.

Their tunes are kind of weak. Alot of people have called them 'Weezer-knock-offs'. They could really benefit having Dave help 'em out.

I'm guessing they want him to tap into his "Cali Girls/Gigolo" genius. At least I hope so...'cause there's not enough blow in Columbia to recreate the BBQ.

You really can't read too much into that statement, as it confirms absolutely nothing at this point. What exactly does "in the works" really mean? For all anyone knows, a member of the band might have merely mooted the idea while the group was sharing a post show joint, or at best sent an email to Roth about collaborating.
