Those are freaking awesome... LOVE Gary Moore LPs.

So in assembling the bomber, I had to decide between the zebra or black Duncan pickup last night...



And while the zebra looks cool enough...



There's something pretty sinister about the "none more black" look. It just seems to yell "F*CK YOU!"

Ironic you posted this yesterday, as I was too busy between trying to keep up with the Cafe Wha? thread and w/ work, but a friend of mine met George Lynch the day before yesterday - she showed him a pic of the bomber and apparently he approves!!!

Think Jer woulda got a kick out of that, as he was a mutt-guitar builder like the rest of us...

Mostly Boogie Bodies going forward, though I used a KnE body for the Charvel project.

You may want to try Musikraft in south NJ. They make high end replacement parts and do not charge as much as many of the other parts companies - especially Boogie. They will also consider discounts and negotiate, if you ask nicely
