    Dream Gear Wish List 2010

I know I've done these type of threads in the past. However, I cannot remember if I did it at Rothchats or here? Regardless, I know I did one a cupla years back. Maybe jhale remembers?

Anyway, there's a new version of Microsoft Windows every other week, so how about a new wishlist or your dream axes, gear, etc?

    Sound good?

I'll start and I know it seems both dumb and cliché but if I had an extra twenty g's laying around, I'd buy this in a fucking New York minute!!!

    Frankie replica

I know places that make decent replicas at an extremely cheaper price but fuck it, I want the real McCoy!!!

My list's a bit on the short side...

That build o' mine (It's ready in my dreams... )
Why settle for something you have, if it's not as good as something you're out to get?

I remember, MAX. It was here. I still want that Hamer bass on the second page.

Here's another which I'm still kicking my own ass for not buying!!! I've always wanted a surf green strat and this one had a matching headstock. Eventually, I might just have to build one. The one pictured, I saved the pics and was on eBay for 800 bucks about three years ago. Unfortunately, I thought too long and someone else bought it at the "buy it now" price. FUCK!!!

I also want this 2007 "Latte Creme" finish Paul!!!

And as long as I'm talking LP's, I also want a goltop. Just like this w/o the pickguard and I'd remove the pickup covers as well. With some wear and tear on it cos I like 'em like that.

Reminds me of that line from some movie or tv show where a guy says "Here's a photo of my wife and kids..." and the second guy looks at it, winces and says "Nice frame."

And I'd still like one of those goofy Kramer Gene Simmons AXE basses, even if it is a bitch to play sitting down.

I'd like to have one of these too. They also made a guitar version of this when these came out in the early '80s. Love to have one of those.

My producer buddy also did some bass tracks on Bruce Kulick's new CD, Gene made a guest vocal appearance, and brought in the Axe bass for my friend to use (he goes way back with them, long story)...but he basically verified what you said - it plays well, just not sitting down...

Douche. Guess you can only troll since you don't have a dream list, not really playing and whatnot...

Back on topic, besides finishing the 3 projects I've got going, I reeeeeeally want an MXR Carbon Copy...

Penis, I already said a few weeks ago that I'd like to have one of these:

Did you forget already? But just for the sake of conversation, I'll throw out some more. I'm interested in this thing:

And it's not a 2010, but I've wanted one of these since it came out... It's just too fucking expensive... That thing is pretty close to the perfect guitar, and it's gorgeous.

Is that enough gas for you, or should I lean over to the other cheek now?

    My dream gear?

2009 Kramer '84 Pacer Classic Reissue

    Kramer Classic Series Pacer Guitars

    2009 Exlusive Guitars Eruption

Exlusive guitars - legendary tone at a fraction of the price.

    Line 6 Pod Studio UX2

Line 6 - POD Studio UX2 - USB Audio Interface for Computer Recording

    This is it.
Reading Crazy From the Heat in four hours flat, in a cramped RV, on the return trip of a 3,000+ mile family outing to New Jersey is an enlightening experience you'll never forget.

I remember you mentioning this a while back, and my response is the same now: I'd love to get my hands on any of the guitars made by Godin, not just the 5th Avenue CW Kingpin II. The company makes several interesting models, and for those interested in learning more about the outfit and it's products, you can check out their website here: Godin Guitars

Get the UX2 and PODfarm...you'll love it. Get Recabinet speaker simulation to run instead of the Line 6 cabinet sims, and you'll like it even better!

I've adored that guitar since Dave Edmonds played an earlier model (a '58 ES 335) when he was in Rockpile with Nick Lowe in the late seventies. An absolutely beautiful instrument.

I'd like to get my hands on a nice goldtop Wolfgang this year... I'd love a standard with the maple top on it, but I'd gladly settle on a special.. I already have a nice seafoam standard that I just had re-fretted with stainless steel frets and it's a beast now... And, like jahle, I'd also like to get a Carbon Copy pedal!

Different year, same guitar. Always wanted a white Gibson Explorer like Hetfield was using back in the 80's.

    Thanks dude!
A couple of p.a. bins got soaked as well as numerous cables. Have go in tomorrow and take inventory of everything. Thankfully all of the guitars were kept well above the floor, either on hangers or in their cases on a high shelf in case of bullshit like this...

Well, just for kicks a white Gibson Flying V '68, with an ebony fingerboard, skull and crossbone inlays, chrome hardware, EMG 85 In the Bridge Position, One Volume Knob.

A Marshall JCM800 Stack (though where in my house I would have the room to store it is beyond me).

I would love to own a Hendrix strat, but, seeing as how they are VERY limited in number and they sell for what, $50,000 and up these days, odds are I will never own one in this lifetime or the next.

If I could I would wish that Garfuckle would go away, but that, like the Hendrix Strat, is likened unto impossibility.
