Ironic you posted this yesterday, as I was too busy between trying to keep up with the Cafe Wha? thread and w/ work, but a friend of mine met George Lynch the day before yesterday - she showed him a pic of the bomber and apparently he approves!!!

Think Jer woulda got a kick out of that, as he was a mutt-guitar builder like the rest of us...

Awesome J! I'd like it hear George's opinion on the reformed VH!!!!

Always been a HUGE Lynch fan...even if Dokken was so good.....he stood out like a GEM...one of the few you can tell in a couple of notes....

And...I bet JER is looking down & DROOLING over that axe of yours Bro! So damn cool!!!

Think you'd have to buy a black one and swap ou the hardware, IIRC the Stealth only comes with the Ebony board? Not sure...but would be cool!

I just need a new Ampeg 8x10 and I would be happy. I have had the same two for 15 years and the are looking shabby.

[QUOTE=jhale667;1569704]Alright, I just got some good news...the neck for my Kramer should be done and getting it's final inspection before shipping to me tomorrow...and the body for the Charvel neck is also nearing it's final polishing stages...won't be long now...

Who is making these parts for you?

Mostly Boogie Bodies going forward, though I used a KnE body for the Charvel project.

You may want to try Musikraft in south NJ. They make high end replacement parts and do not charge as much as many of the other parts companies - especially Boogie. They will also consider discounts and negotiate, if you ask nicely

I just want a Les Paul. A real one.

A guitarist I used to jam with, Randy was his name, used to play in a band called

BBC out of Detroit/Windsor back in the day. Opened for Aerosmith a couple of times I think.

Anyhoo, he tol me once, when you buy a Les Paul you have to look inside. I can't remember

what it was he said to look for, but he said checking inside was a must to make sure it was the real deal.

    A Celestion G12M/H loaded 2x12.

    It's a threeway-tie between a Traynor DHX212, a Palmer and a EVH, at the moment...
Why settle for something you have, if it's not as good as something you're out to get?

SARGE and I were discussing Telecasters this afternoon, and coincidentally a patron donated a bunch of Guitar Player back issues from 2011. In the August issue, this item was featured: A Limited Edition Seymour Duncan 35 Telecaster. The thing is a variation of the famous "TeleGib" built for Jeff Beck sometime in the early 1970s. It features an unlikely set of humbuckers, along with a Gibson tailpiece and bridge (how that lines up to the Fender neck, I'm not quite sure. ) I'm also unsure of the tone, combining those pick ups with the rather austere Fender body.

    LINK: Seymour Duncan LE 35
