Funny you don't mention the others...

How come they couldn't stop Parker on a 75 yard TD run ?

How come they couldn't stop Randle El on the TD pass to Ward ??

Yet they still comeback with the pass interference....

Don't know if this is directed at me or not, but I was just havin' fun with ya. I'm not the conspiracy type.

Personally I think Big Ben was shy of the goal line on that play, but it's not worth arguing the point. The Hawks lost that game in many other ways.

    Fuckin' Steelers.

LOL, that blurry screen shot doesn't prove a damn thing.

YouTube - Touchdown yes or no?

I vote no. But that isn't really even the play that annoyed me most about that game. Doesn't matter now.

    Well, let me say this...

You give Roeth the O-line that either Manning or Brady has, he could put up those kind of numbers....

Not even, I take the calls as they are most are correct but plenty are fucking wrong. That game was full of ticky tack fouls that all went The Steelers way.

What you're not getting Va is that I couldn't give a fuck cos I wasn't rooting for either teim. Hence, I am completely unbiased. However and as a lifelong football fanatic, there were tons of poor calls that went in The Steelers favor and put the momentum completely on their side.

Fuck, I'm just like Steve Mariuchi (sp?) with his bullshit playoff win over The Packers in '99 and with his win over the Giants when they were both shitty calls. Mooch was like "Oh well?" cos he knows the calls were total bullshit but happy that they went his way.

There's no denying that Rice fumbled the ball and had it been called correctly, Owens NEVER would've had the game winning catch.

Same with that botched kick and the uneligable receiver call on The Giants when infact the receiver was eligable and it was clearly pass interference on the 49'ers.

Again, I'll even refer to The NFL Network's Top 10 Shows of all time. In the "Most controversial calls" episode, that Steelers vs. Seahawks SB was high on the list and most people agree that the refs were extremely towell happy towards the Seahawks that day.

Fuck man, it's the fucking Super Bowl, let 'em duke it out and play fucking ball without stupid and moronic penalties that kill competitors momentum.

I'm curious what you're thoughts are regarding that coin toss game of yours a few years back? Was that a good call? Yes or no? :p

If I'm still around when Big Ben retires, all's said and done and IF he's accomplished what you think he will, I'll gladly eat a big plate of crow. However and as of now, I just don't see it.

Well, I don't see them revamping their O-line any time soon, maybe a piece here, a piece there...

So he's going to continue to get sacked ~50 times year after year....

Yah, that was Cowher's Bowl and the Ref's were going to do their best to give it to him !! And I am a Steeler's fan, The Hawks were getting it up the ass from the ref's. It was the same in the Vikes/ Saints game, The Vikes were trying to give it away but not good enough so the ref's helped out. Big Ben is moving up the list fast. I would take him over Brady at this point. He isn't afraid to take a hit like Brady. He needs a couple more great years .

Well, Brady was knocked out for an entire season plus Big Ben weighs three times as much as Brady.

Again and by no means am I dissing Ben but Brady's definitely more Montana'ish in the clutch than Ben is. IMO

Just remember Bradshaw called his own plays. He took awhile to get good, but at his peak in the late 70's he was damn near unstoppable. He had a good five years at the top of his game. Not saying he was the greatest of all time, but people dismiss him too easily. They always have.

Maybe some of those older guys like graham and Starr called their own plays too, and to me that adds another dimension to the discussion. Also the rule changes since the 70s have made it MUCH easier to have a good passing game not get your QB's head smashed in every week.

I'd love to know what's laughable about Ben having a better Superbowl record than Elway already in about a third of the time?

Or having a better career QB rating?

    Ben 91.7
    Elway 79.9

John Elway - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Ben Roethlisberger - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

These are just a couple quick stats, I could go more in depth if I felt like it. Elway is Big Ben's idol and Roethlisberger even chose #7 in honor of the old Bronco. I am not bashing Elway here but the CUNTRY better recognize The new #7 is in charge these days and he's not going anywhere for awhile. We're watching a new legend at work.
