When someone says promote two guys to webby and I say I think only one because of this n this reason, it shouldn't offend.
I found it difficult to be moderate as a Mod, when I wanted to respond disrespectfully.. so guess what? I'm not a mod anymore.
A third reason, two shouldn't be promoted at once, is it's harder to track movement of two new promotions than one.
If both Pana and VA are promoted, it should be spaced in a few months apart unless the board is really, really desperate for leadership and we're getting totally harrassed. Which hasn't happened in like, 7 or 8 years?

And, by the way, speaking of donations, you've sure got a hell of a lot of opinions about how this site is ran for someone who hasn't donated a dime....

I don't think promoting two at once, if it comes to that is a big deal. Other than titles, duties wouldn't change significantly for either, other than there's always a mess in the Webbie forum when Sarge and BS1 start drinking...and we'll hand cleanup duties to the new guys...
As for criteria, post count, respect factor, somewhat level-headed, trustworthy, and can you pass Sarge's staring-at-goats test. I think VA passed (or passed out) the test once before at Pojo's trailer park, PM did it with kangaroos, but those are like goats in Australia, so both are in good standing.
And let's not forget, all this talk about promotions is academic until the site renewal and Sarge puts some thought into what's best for the site going forward.
