More than likely, as that's the way it is at the other sites I oversee. I can do just about anything with regard to running the board there in the way of administration, but I can not affect things like smilies, games (other than editing scores or comments) or the actual presentation of the site itself. To tell you the truth, I appreciate not having to deal with it, let alone the headaches that go with it.

Could be, maybe you need to be a full Admin rather than a Supermod. Once you get access to it, it's really easy to use with a full interface so you won't need any tech skills.
I can't remember exactly whereabouts the option appears on the CP, I haven't used it since DDLR went down years ago.
It would still take a long time for him to upload them. Each show was split into four 1 hour sections, each of which was 30MB or something and there are what, 35 or 40 shows?

i have all those newspaper articles that hit the day of the announcement, i copy n' pasted them to text files. i didn't know i could save the whole thread as an HTML so i kinda fucked up there. the daily threads woulda been good to have. or maybe not.Yeah it would be good to get all the radio shows up. The video and audio in the Vault still don't seem to be working but it looks to me like a pretty straightforward fix of getting the embedded player working again - the donkey work of the links pointing to the right places seems to be ok.

There's actually quite a lot of stuff in there that is working like text interviews and pics and so on mainly from 1999-2004. I bet a lot of people never go there because they don't know about it.

vBulletin 4.0.3 has problems that are causing some buggy behavior with the site. There is a 4.0.6 maintenance download available now that offers over 100 bug fixes. Should help with some of the performance issues.
Mezro...Sarge or Conmee will probably install it soon...

4.0.6. is really smooth, and doesn't tend to bog quite as much as earlier versions. We installed it a couple of days ago at another site, and have had no major issues with it. I highly recommend using it, as the upgrade is well worth it.
There's a lot of people here who stepped up and made a difference to the new look of the site , some paid for it , some put shitloads of time into it , some did nothing and then moaned about it......

Now if you want to make the most positive "reverberating" improvement to the board and Roth Army community as a whole... there's one final modification required in this implementation effort. It only requires a single click with the permanent flag invoked in the admin panel under the user/member management section... Imagine the positive ramifications...
