Pete mods can edit/move or even delete your post but only in the forum they have controll of. Some may be able to see your IP but I doubt that even. Other than that all they can do is see the mod room and they may only have acess to portions of that. Kinda of a fucked up balance of power.

Having watched one of my friends go through this on a fantasy football site, (she was the only woman on it that really talked, and so was driven out of town) I am sorry to see the herd mentality.
Whether or not Gar was the "most hated" or something, he should not be banned just because of that. If a site becomes too homogenized and only those that think alike are allowed to post, sites become stagnant.
I don't think that M.A.S.H. improved just because "Ferret Face" Frank Burns left. Gar was a lightening-rod and kept things interesting around here, regardless of his opinions.
I would prefer to see someone legitimately banned only for forum rule busts, and that could happen I suppose to anybody.
