From the "Journal News" in New York's Lower Hudson Valley...

The victim was reportedly a 15 year old runaway who was controlled by a pimp. Further allegations include that she was also beaten in addition to being raped.

If any little bit of it is true, L.T., your bitch ass is going away for a looooonnnnng time.

MONTEBELLO — Football Hall of Famer Lawrence Taylor was arrested in a Rockland hotel overnight and is facing a felony rape charge involving an attack on a 15-year-old girl who apparently was a runaway from New York City controlled by a pimp, authorities said this morning.

The 51-year-old former New York Giants linebacker was taken into custody by Ramapo police at the Holiday Inn off Airmont Road, Ramapo Police Detective Lt. Brad Weidel said.

Taylor was being held in the town police lockup pending arraignment in Ramapo Justice Court this afternoon. One of the charges being considered is third-degree rape, a charge that involves having intercourse with a minor.

The victim was reportedly beaten during the attack.

Taylor's lawyer, Kenneth Gribetz, said he has not seen the charges or the details of accusations.

Gribetz, a former Rockland district attorney, said he's confident Taylor will be released on bail later this afternoon and eventually exonerated.

"We firmly contend he is innocent of the charges and will be fully exonerated," Gribetz said.

Gribetz and his law partner, Deborah Lowenberg, met with Taylor at the Ramapo police lockup.

"He's upset as anyone would in this situation," Gribetz said of Taylor. "He's looking forward to an early arraignment and release."

Taylor, a football icon and one of the NFL's greatest defensive players, has a history of drug abuse and other run-ins with the law. He has tested positive for cocaine several times during his NFL career and has been arrested for buying cocaine from undercover police officers.

Taylor, who has a home in New Jersey, told police he was a resident of Pembroke Pines, Fla. He has frequently played golf in Rockland.

Ramapo police were planning a news conference later this afternoon to provide more details in the case.

The victim apparently was a runaway from the Bronx who was brought by a pimp to the Holiday Inn where Taylor was staying, Ramapo Supervisor Christopher St. Lawrence said this morning.

The girl got beaten up at the hotel, authorities said, and later needed treatment at a hospital.

"She was a runaway since March and there was a pimp involved," St. Lawrence said. "She got punched in the face. We're not sure who did it."

The police got involved after the girl texted her uncle as the pimp drove her down to the Bronx, St. Lawrence said. The uncle called the New York City Police Department and officers met the pimp's car in the city, St. Lawrence said.

The police took statements from the girl, arrested the pimp and called the Ramapo Police Department, who sent officers to the hotel to investigate.

Police secured the scene in the hotel room, gathered evidence and sent detectives to New York City as part of the investigation.

Taylor has been in the limelight as a football player and in retirement.

As an outside linebacker, Taylor revolutionized the position with his strength, speed and ability to rush the quarterback.

Taylor, a 10-time Pro-Bowl player, led New York to Super Bowls titles in 1987 and 1991. He was voted the NFL Most Valuable Player in 1986 and NFL Defensive Player of the Year in 1981, 1982 and 1986.

Taylor was selected to the NFL's 75th Anniversary All-Time Team and was inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame in 1999.

Taylor competed in ABC's "Dancing With the Stars" last year.

Taylor has had a highly publicized struggle with drug addiction and has had multiple legal run-ins in retirement.

In 2001, Taylor was convicted of possessing drug paraphernalia in New Jersey. The conviction stemmed from the September 1998 discovery in a hotel room of a butane torch and other materials commonly used to smoke crack.

In 1996 and 1997, he was arrested in South Carolina and Florida on drug charges. In those cases, he either admitted his guilt or agreed to enter a pretrial intervention program.

In 2000, he drew five years of federal probation for filing false tax returns and for tax evasion.

Uh oh, there goes his Nutry System endorsement deal.

LT's a fucking moron. Fuck, I'll bet he has fucking hemerroids older than the fifteen year old chick he nailed. He's what fifty? What the fuck is he doing chasing jailbait in the first place. Might have been a stellar linebacker back in the day but he's a dipshit of a criminal. Maybe he can share a cell with Orenthal and the two can relive their glory days and diddle one another while they're at it. Fucking idiots.

More details, from ESPN's Sports Center at 6 PM this evening...the police banged on the hotel room Taylor was staying in around 3 AM. He refused to answer the door, so they got in presumably with a key from the manager. In the room was a bunch of alcohol, but Taylor appeared sober. He admitted to the officers that he'd had consensual sex with the woman, and was then arrested.

Here is where things get interesting. The victim filed a restraining order against Taylor, to which his attorney claimed pointless as Taylor had never seen the woman before. The attorney then went on to say (at a hastily called news conference) that Taylor did not have consensual sex with anyone yesterday. Weird way to word a rape defense, wouldn't you say?

In any event, bond was initially set at $100,000. This was reduced to $75,000 after the attorney complained, siting that Taylor had no place to hide being a celebrity. Taylor paid it and is out on bail until a preliminary hearing sometime in June.

I thought the same thing when the story first broke this afternoon.

L.T. and O.J. sitting in a cell....feeling sorry for each other because society "just doesn't understand."

I'll never understand how people who could have the world by the ass constantly feel compelled make HARDCORE fuckups like this...

Contrary to what his lawyer claimed the other day, Taylor admits to having sex with the girl. Only now he's using the old "I thought she was 19" dodge. Yeah, that always works.

Feds: Lawrence Taylor admitted paying for sex

By TOM HAYS, Associated Press Writer

NEW YORK (AP)—Disgraced gridiron great Lawrence Taylor admitted paying for sex at a suburban Holiday Inn where police say he raped a 16-year-old runaway, federal prosecutors said Friday in a criminal complaint against the girl’s alleged pimp.

The papers filed in federal court in Manhattan refer to Taylor only as “Client-1.”

In the paperwork, authorities claim the Pro Football Hall of Famer told police following his arrest on Thursday that he had taken a car service from Newark International Airport to the hotel north of New York City to meet “Victim-1.”

Taylor told investigators that after “engaging in sex acts” with the victim, he paid her $300 in cash, the complaint says. The man charged in the complaint, Rasheed Davis, had told the Giants legend that the girl was 19, the court papers say.

Taylor, 51, was charged Thursday in Suffern, N.Y. with third-degree rape and patronizing a prostitute. His lawyer, Arthur Aidala, has denied the charges.

A federal magistrate ordered Davis held without bail after prosecutors said they suspect the defendant forced other young women into prostitution.

Davis, if free, would be an “extreme danger to the community” since authorities “haven’t yet identified all the victims who are out there,” said prosecutor Amanda Kramer.

The girl, who was reported missing by her family in March, met Davis at a Bronx bus stop two to three weeks ago. The federal complaint says she told investigators that the 36-year-old parolee offered her a place to live and a way to make money.

In her account, prosecutors said, the girl said Davis gave her Ecstasy and marijuana before making her do “exotic dancing” and “engage in multiple commercial sex acts” for prices ranging from $80 to $150. He advertised her services by sending cell phone photos of her and posting ads on websites, the complaint says.

On Wednesday, Davis sent the girl a text message in which he said he wanted her to have sex with “Client-1” for $300, the complaint says. When she refused, Davis began threatening with text messages, prosecutors said.

The texts were “along the lines of ‘I’m going to ‘F’ you up,”’ Kramer said.

The complaint said Davis later beat up the victim, drove her to the hotel against her will and waited outside for an hour while she had sex with Taylor.

Authorities found notebooks in the home where Davis kept “customers information,” Kramer said.

Defense attorney Sabrina Shroff had argued her client should get bail, saying he lived in another home with his mother and was a lifelong New Yorker. Afterward, she declined to comment on the charges.

Late Wednesday and early Thursday, the girl sent text messages to her uncle saying she was in trouble. The uncle called police, who arrested Davis once he returned to the Bronx with the teenager.

Police believe Taylor used a middleman to arrange the liaison, but said Friday they hadn’t identified that person.

Davis was sentenced in April 1994 to eight to 25 years in prison for first-degree manslaughter, a charge stemming from a fatal shooting. He was paroled in March 2008. Kramer said he would likely face more than 15 years in prison if he was convicted of the federal charge.

Taylor anchored the Giants’ defense and led them to Super Bowl titles in 1987 and 1991. He was selected to the NFL’s 75th Anniversary All-Time Team.

A 10-time Pro Bowler, he was the NFL Most Valuable Player in 1986 and the NFL Defensive Player of the Year in 1981, 1982 and 1986.

The weight-loss company NutriSystem Inc. said Friday it had dropped Taylor as a spokesman because of his arrest.

Like we all didn't know that was coming. Excuse the pun. What the fuck is a hasbeen crack addict doing chasing teenage tail anyway? I'd have thought his stock would've risen a bit after dancing with the tards?

Did he seduce the jailbait with this song in his '86 Vette?

    LT is indicted:

    "Grand jury indicts Taylor

    ESPN.com news services

NEW YORK -- Pro football Hall of Famer Lawrence Taylor has been indicted by a suburban New York grand jury on charges of rape, criminal sexual act and sexual abuse.

    Lawrence Taylor

    Taylor

The indictment Wednesday comes after his May 6 arrest at a Holiday Inn. Prosecutors say he paid a 16-year-old girl $300 to have sex with him.

The former New York Giant was also indicted on charges of endangering the welfare of a child and patronizing a prostitute.

Taylor's longtime agent, Mark Lepselter, told ESPNNewYork.com's Ian O'Connor that Taylor's legal team wasn't surprised by the timing of the indictment.

"Lawrence's legal team made a strategic decision not to put him or any of our evidence before the grand jury, and we look forward to the legal process taking its course and allowing Lawrence to move forward with his life," Lepselter said.

Asked about Taylor's reaction to the indictment, Lepselter said that his client was hopeful that his innocence would be proven in court.

"Obviously it's not a pleasant day for Lawrence and his family, but LT's had to overcome many obstacles in the past and is hopeful he'll be able to overcome this one as well," Lepselter said.

Xiomara Lopez, the confidential assistant to the prosecutor, told ESPNNewYork.com's Jane McManus that the next step in the case would be a hearing. That usually happens the same day as the indictment, but she said the Rockland County District Attorney's office is having trouble getting in touch with Taylor's attorney.

Earlier Wednesday, former Rockland DA Kenneth Gribetz told ESPNNewYork.com that he was no longer representing Taylor and referred all questions to the DA's office. Taylor's lead attorney Arthur Aidala is also involved in a case currently on trial, defending William Rapetti who is accused of manslaughter due to negligence in operating a crane that toppled and killed seven people.

Lepselter said that it is expected that Taylor would appear "in court sometime in the next two weeks."

Rockland County District Attorney Thomas Zugibe says the 16-year-old told investigators that she had been verbally threatened and physically assaulted. She said she was brought to the hotel room by a pimp later arrested by New York City police.

    Taylor has denied the charges."

Information from The Associated Press, ESPNNewYork.com's Ian O'Connor and ESPNNewYork.com's Jane McManus was used in this report.

Other than having to register as a sex offender, the dirtbag got away with it, for now. Expect a civil trial soon.

Lawrence Taylor sentenced in sex case

    ESPN

NEW CITY, N.Y. -- Lawrence Taylor was given six years' probation on Tuesday for an encounter with an underage prostitute.

One of the original charges against Taylor was for statutory rape, and if found guilty, he could have received a four-year prison sentence. He pleaded guilty in January to sexual misconduct and having sex with the girl, now 17. The Rockland County District Attorney's office did not request jail time for Taylor.

Both the victim in the case, identified as C.F. due to her age and status as a minor in a rape case, and her attorney, Gloria Allred, said Tuesday that they were disappointed that the former New York Giants Hall of Fame linebacker did not get jail time.

"Lawrence Taylor should be in the hall of shame, not the Hall of Fame," Allred said.

C.F. sat in the front row of Judge William Kelly's courtroom, and was prepared to read a statement before Taylor's sentencing. But Kelly ruled that victim statements are allowed only in felony cases; Taylor pleaded to misdemeanor charges. The victim was 16 when Taylor was arrested at a Holiday Inn in Suffern, N.Y.

C.F., in a ponytail and wearing little makeup, instead read her statement on a concrete patio in front of a dozen cameras after the proceedings concluded. She hesitated with words, like "patronizing," and wept at the conclusion, turning to hug Allred.

"Every day I have to look in the mirror and know I am not the same," said C.F., who denied that she was a prostitute.

Taylor admitting having intercourse with the girl, who turned out to be a Bronx runaway. He said she told him she was 19, but he added that he now knows the girl was 16 and legally incapable of consent. He said he paid her $300.

"I believe Mr. Taylor could see my face and how young I was," she said.

Taylor also will have to abide by the conditions of a sex offender. But the judge postponed until April 12 a hearing to determine what level of sex offender will be assigned to him.

All sex offenders have to report their address annually and report any changes in 10 days.

At Level 1 and 2, offenders have to get their picture taken every three years; in Level 3, this occurs every year. Level 3 offenders also have to report the name and address of their employer and advise of any change.

John Caher, spokesman for the state Criminal Justice Services Division, said that although Level 1 offenders aren't posted on a public website, anyone who calls the division can find out if a person is a sex offender.

Taylor's attorney, Arthur Aidala, said he was able to remove many of the more onerous restrictions for Taylor that usually go along with being a sex offender, such as not having a DVD player or being able to use a computer.

Aidala said that Taylor wanted to make sure he could still pick up his 5-year-old son, who he and his wife Lynette adopted. He also wanted to remove provisions requiring therapy and prohibiting him -- Taylor says he is sober when it comes to drugs like cocaine and heroin -- from drinking wine. Kelly said he would leave both items up to probation officials in Broward County, Fla., where Taylor lives and will serve the term.

Aidala was able to have an 11 p.m. curfew pushed back to 1 a.m., but Taylor will not be able to visit social networking sites such as Facebook and still has to contribute a DNA sample.

When asked if he wanted to address the court, Taylor declined. "I'm fine, judge, thank you."

Allred would not say if she planned to file a civil lawsuit now that criminal proceedings have concluded.

"We look forward to representing [C.F.] as she continues her fight for justice," she said.

Allred expressed outrage over several factors in the proceedings, including that Taylor was allowed to plead guilty to patronizing a prostitute. C.F. was allegedly beaten and forced to go to Taylor's hotel room by Rasheed Davis, who faces federal sex trafficking charges in the case. Everything she did that night in Taylor's room, Allred said, was done out of fear of further abuse.

Both Allred and C.F. said there were signs, such as a swollen eye, that she was not in the hotel room of her own free will.

"I did what he told me to do because I was afraid [of] what would happen if I didn't," C.F. said.

C.F. said she would have been willing to testify at a trial.

"I think that Mr. Taylor should have to go to jail for what he did to me," C.F. read from her statement.

In a comparatively brief address, Rockland County district attorney Thomas Zugibe said C.F. was indeed a victim and that justice was served by forcing Taylor to account for criminal conduct.

"It's the very conduct he engaged in here that creates a market for human trafficking," Zugibe said.

After Allred spoke in front of assembled cameras, Taylor's attorney vigorously refuted the characterization of his client, and said Allred was making things worse for C.F. by making her a public figure.

"This young woman is being victimized once again," Aidala said. "Nobody knew who she was. Everybody in the district attorney's office and on the defense team went to great lengths to protect her name, to protect her image so she could go forth in life in this world of Internet, where things live on forever and ever, so she could go on without this being a blemish on her record."

He then used words like "pathetic" and "a disgrace" to characterize Allred's involvement in the case. He had watched as Allred addressed reporters and C.F. read her statement, and smiled and shook his head as C.F. cried on Allred's shoulder.

Aidala said C.F.'s relationship with Davis involved drugs and strip clubs. He said that he was sure Allred would file a civil case by the close of business Tuesday.
