I just scored about 23,000 points playing "Square Bear Reversi". but that unbelievably fucking amazing super tremendous great score was not stored. dunno why.

The big problem with the arcade scoreboards is that a bunch of the games should be set to be lowest score is top e.g. for golf games the person with the lowest score should obviously be the winner.
From memory I think is a simple thing you can set in the vBulliten control panel but I don't think any of the Webmaster type people play games in the arcade.

I haven't been playing games in there for a year or two and I see you have sneaked past me to the top of the leaderboard after months and months of desperate 20 hour a day gaming.

Ever since the switch to the new vbulletin platform, the games do not function at my work computer. And it isn't just here, as a couple other sites that I frequent have the same issue. More than likely, this has to do with the various filters we have in place there. For instance, at one site I can not log in normally, because drop down is blocked (in fact, none of the drop down menus work). In most cases, the games will not even load, and if they do the controls fail to function. Finally, if you can get the game to load and function, you are prevented from submitting a score.
It's really odd, as I experience none of these issues at home. Then again, perhaps that is why our outfit has these measures installed in the first place.
